Again, I'm able to use ACE on my not quite new 2,4 GHz dual core quite well.
It's surely possible to reach the CPU's limits:

That's the Cubase arrangement of this little track. At certain points there are some CPU spikes, red light and a little crackling. But if I count correctly there are some 18 voices playing (two 3-stack tracks, one 3 voice pad, several single sounds). I think that's reasonable for such an excellent sound quality.

The last days with ACE, with "normal" quality and also many stacks the cpu-usage was pretty ok for such good sound. nearly like massive. And i personally think normal-mode sounds good enough, so the ACE can be used in many instances in the project
