Congrats, mharnishfeger! And to everyone who contributed as well: there was a lot of great material for everyone in this round.
In the end, it's great to win, but the windfall of new free inspirational patches is what it's about too.
It was cool to resurrect one of my old favorite patches from my DX7 days but I missed spelling Fq in Hz or in harmonic ratios. I also found myself struggling with the envelopes: the 4-level 4-rate envelopes of the DX had a flexibility and precision which I found difficult to emulate with Zebra's, although the MSEG are the way to go there. And of course, there's the two missing operators...But I'm comparing apple and oranges: it's amazing what Zebra can accomplish as is!

Finally had time to check out ZPC-16. I thought BS Danger Zone was pretty close, but I thought it needed some more bite to it. On the FMO 1, I increased FM to 41.00, and Velocity to 48.00. Just a suggestion for what was a good patch to start with. I think FM Clavistar+ sounds pretty cool, I like it even better when I change the Voice Mode to arpeggiator, with the Arp Sync at 1/16.
