Hi,
I have a problem with this one, but I think it is complicated to locate, because it only occurs in combination with another plugin, so I don't know which is the faulty one.
When I use the ComboF together with the Fx Version of vb3 as lesliesimulation (great sound these 2 together) in Nuendo and want to save the project, saving lasts very long and I can hear a clicking noise through the speakers. Every save lasts longer, up to 15-20 seconds. Also I can not load for example TruePianos as VST on another track. As soon as I remove either ComboV or the vb3fx, the project saves without problems in 1 second and I can load TruePianos again.
I am on Windows XP SP3 32bit and have an Intel Core2quad.
It would be fantastic if this problem could be located as I have to render my organ tracks and remove the vsti or vst.
Cheers
Alex

I have just tried to replicate this issue in REAPER, loading ComboV or ComboF, and VB3fx (demo), and then saving the project, and everything seems to work just fine here. Unfortunately I don't have Nuendo here to test things with.rasmusklump wrote:When I use the ComboF together with the Fx Version of vb3 as lesliesimulation (great sound these 2 together) in Nuendo and want to save the project, saving lasts very long and I can hear a clicking noise through the speakers. What versions of Nuendo, ComboV, ComboF, and VB3 are you running?
I don't know if Nuendo can export VST presets? It would be interesting to know if you can save a single ComboF preset (preferrably in a FXP or FXB file) from within a misbehaving ComboF/VB3 combination project. Perhaps I can then analyse this preset file, and see if there is anything wrong with it.

Hi,
thank you very much. With your question about the versions you helped me a lot. It seems it was the vb3s fault. When version 1.4 came out I only updated the vsti version but the vb3fx was still 1.3 I have updatet this now to 1.4 and everything works as it should.
Thank you very much again for the two best vst organs (with vb3 short behind)

ah, now I have even read it in the release notes for 1.4 that there was a problem when the host saved a project in 1.3 . .....

I have started working on renewing Combo Model F's GUI. The new plan is to have three views:
1. Organ
2. Settings
3. Tuning
In the organ view you will get the organ, with only a few tiny tabs, and the on-screen keyboard below it (just as it is now). In the Settings view you will get large tabs and (non-tuning) sliders, but the on-screen keyboard is no longer visible (so you will have to switch back to the Organ view to sample notes through the on-screen keyboard). In the Tuning view you will get the large tabs and the tuning sliders. A new instance of the plug-in will load up in the Settings view (just as it is now).
Here are some screenshots to give you a better idea of what I am talking about:
