Sounds like a bug, what about dragging into other Vsts?

Works fine for me with IL Edison, for example

No......

But the weird thing is that getting Egoist has led to me rediscovering GeistLite

I'm not using drum/groove machines that much, but kind of prefer Geist (even though it is Lite) over Egoist so far.

Geist is missing the inbuilt Effectrix, but instead I put Artillery on the Effects chain, to mangle with the output

Just started reading latest FM (285), and it feels pretty good having been able to pick up a plug at just over $40, which only got to be reviewed in this very issue. That's fresh

They score it 8 out of 10, verdict in short: "A superb platform on which to kick musical ideas around, but it's lacking in the export department "

Multiple outs are on the to do list, which should aid in this department.

Works great with a touchscreen, though not multitouch, I hadnt expected it to be though.
CPU is zero on my i7

So this should play great old or low spec'd machines

Sugar Bytes are fantastic at keeping the CPU meter low, both Cyclop and Egoist perform great on my i3

Indeed! Not that I got an iPad, but this plug should be great for users of that

And the price is fair, $20 is only like half of what I paid for the VST during the sale.

egoist is wonderful, i threw in 3 instances of it and randomized then adjusted a lil and already had a full beat with a haunting melody with reverb. i dont use the beats, basses, only the slicing!

great tool i dont wanna miss anymore!

To me Consequence looks rather similar to Egoist ?

What's the main difference between them?

Egoist actually slices audio, so that's kind of a big difference.

In fact, outside of some interface similarities, they are really very different.

I've downloaded the demo maybe 3 times and I really want to like egoist but.. It just doesn't get love from me. When I use reason, converting stuff to REX and playing in dr octorex is much more versatile and when in reaper.. Well.. Reaper itself is much more versatile
