When you log into JRRshop it's even cheaper ($80-something), so it's almost a no brainer. I grabbed it and am planning to delve into it over the Xmas break period. On the surface it seems quite awesome and capable of inspiring fresh approaches to beat creation, even though much of what it does can be replicated elsewhere (like cutting midi note triggers and micro-editing in the FL Studio sequencer).
My only interest in the included patterns is using them as templates to dive off into my own stuff - I wouldn't derive any satisfaction from using their sequenced patterns verbatim in my music.
Also I wouldn't limit it specifically to glitchy EDM patterns. You can start from a blank canvas so it's entirely upto you how you lay it out and the included one shots are very high quality.
