Ace XL?

If my memory serves (which is a stretch with my memory), there was a time when Urs was seriously considering joining a future ACE to a future "Berlin Modular." However, I don't think they would have formed a single synth, but rather parts of a sort of bundle. Although Urs also once spoke of a "virtual analog modular," which would be a different synth than ACE I think.

And then there is "ACE XL" which might have twice the modules of ACE!

I am thankful. I did not know about that thread and Urs tolking in it about Berlin Modular plans. I guess that thread was done even before i knew about Uhe company.

Some expanded oscillators for hypothetical ACE XL would be nice. Assuming the idea of stuffing all bazzile osc features into ACE is a bit of silliness. Threads like these feel like writing letters to Santa Claus, but anyway.

Mind that this thread happened few days, maybe hours after OP bought ACE. No, i'm not picking, it's just that this is either an attempt to troll, or there's a serious bit of "never happy with anything" happening here, combined with the unwillingness to devote yourself deeper to something. Nothing in the world will ever be good enough then.

With both ACE and Bazille, there is so much more possible as they are right now than first seems apparent. The number of different ways things can be wired that lead to useful interesting sounds is large and it takes time to discover them.

Both ACE and Bazille are like eurorack modular synths. Obviously, for someone having years of experience with hardware modular gear, they would catch on quick, but for those coming from the usual softsynths, it is a whole new world that takes time to explore.

Yeah, even ACE seemed quite a monster when i demo'd it. At least i would have needed some time to wrap my head around it.

My master whom i serve knows better then all of you combined about modular synthesizers and awrything else so it helps me. So i can work much better and more efficient then if i worked alone by my own skills. So that's why a work i do with help of my master done in a way which looks like impossible to do.Because for my master i serve nothing is impossible.

If (big IF!) this happens it might be a free update, but it might at the same time be an opportunity to adjust ACE' retail price. If (big IF again!) there's however a full "ACE XL" upgrade, we'll ask 10% of the retail price for the upgrade from V1.x to V2.x, so somewhere between 10$ and 15$ (after price adjustment). We'll see what mood we're in once we get to it, which I hope will happen within the next one or two years.

It's safe to say that neither "one or two years" have passed, nor that a decision about the update or upgrade was made. We have ideas, but nothing is set in stone.

Why you cuted off your quauote? In first part of your post you say something might be possible this years.
So i wonder if you still planing to do that.
