magicmusic: Not sure what you mean by global message loops, but application global loops are always there. As for spacebar, the problem is every host is a little different. Spacebar is sort of classic, but unfortunately spacebar is also often used to trigger buttons, which is where the danger lies. As for the MConvolutionMB - please just rerun the installer, make sure you perform "plugin cleanup" and reinstall all plugins you need with all interfaces. Then let reaper rescan all plugins. It definitely works and with new Reaper updates I think it should work even first time (originally there was some bug, that after the scan Reaper didn't update the IDs, so you'd need to restart it, but many people didn't give it a try and already started contacting us
All MeldaProduction effects and MPowerSynth updated to 11.00 and MTurboReverb released

Sorry but i did not use the expression 'horrible design'. I wrote that i regard the fact that Windows (which i respect as a system) does not send unprocessed key events to the parent as a serious shortcoming. I assume it's a legacy issue which MS does not want to change for compatibility reasons.MeldaProduction wrote:Well, no offense, but you claimed how horrible design flaw of Windows it is
Then we disagree about how UI systems are structured.but it's absolutely natural NOT to send events higher.
Normally the popup window will take focus hence the key events will go to the popup window and nothing is entered in the inactive browser window. So no prob.Imagine you work with say web browser and for some reason it shows a popup, with just something, doesn't matter. And user types something, while he was originally in some text field in the browser, which is now covered by the popup, and now he is typing to the edit field without even knowing it!![]()
Note that the solution i propose is specific for plugin editors in a host context. In short: If the user types keys in a plugin editor but these keys are not relevant = not used by the plugin editor, then they're forwarded to the host so that the host can check whether it can process those key events coming from the plugin editor. (the host knows where the key events come from ie. unused key events from plugin editor)

maybe i explain not complete. the space bar work to start play in DAW in every VST plugin and of course in melda plugins too, if the Main Window of the VST is active. only when in melda plugins the browser window is active, space bar do nothing.MeldaProduction wrote: Spacebar is sort of classic, but unfortunately spacebar is also often used to trigger buttons, which is where the danger lies.
so wy it is bad when the browser window is active in a melda plugin it work in same way as when melda plugin main window is active ? and the suggestion mulab do to avoid the problem look not as it is much work. but if you know a better solution you can post it too in pseudocode

Just made this preset in MTurboReverb (not the multi-band version), pretty awesome ambience using one ER module and two LRs, improvising live on video straight into the plug-in using some of my Falcon cello patches.

in windows 7+10 is transparency of windows possible. i think transperency usefull to make vst plugins a little transparent(30% or so), so can have in the background a frequency response curve(for example from a headphone or speaker) and can draw or set good with a melda plugin(for example freeform eq) too. maybe transparency can add easy too melda plugin core ?

How do you suggest get frequency curves of high end speakers into freeform eq and can hear how this thousands dollar speaker sound to check if songs sound good on them ?
here on link have such a frequency diagram and btw there is a room measurement with this speakers too, here can see how important speaker calibration is when compare the room measurement with the free field measurement https://www.stereophile.com/content/rev ... asurements
there is also measurement of the expensive Verity Sarastro II
so my idea is to have transparency windows to be able to draw the curve. with control mousewheel can zoom the web content in browser. maybe programming is easy and there need only a transperency value change when modify the window

magicmusic, PLEASE PLEASE start making dedicated threads for your questions, nobody is going to help you this way...
Anyways you'd need a flat response mike and record white noise (or pink noise) and match it to the real noise curve. But really didn't have much luck even with dedicated solutions for this, so personally I think it's better to just treat the room or use some great headphones.
