V2.0.2 Update
Includes updates for VSDSX and CLaptrap

Fixed wrong status on MIDI Map after a Map Reset.
Better support for Direct-X graphics (fix crashes on older systems).
Hihat fix wrong velocity always affecting Hihat bend instead of sensitivity.
Multi Out switch will stay consistent even on patch change througout the life of the instance.(it now resets to off on Project recall so don't forget to put it back on if it was, this is a tradeoff to avoid the annoying resets on preset change)
GUI fixes and color changes.
New keyboard control mode (claptrap).
Fix control voltages limit in key control mode(claptrap).
Catalina / Big Sur fix (Mac)
Auval fix (Mac)
Automation and preset system fix (Mac)
Now signed and notarized by Apple (Mac)
Ahhaa, so two bugs I reported immediately after spending a few minutes with the version 2.0 release, back in April 2019, I now have to pay for to get fixed? :dog:

Well, after a bit of sleep out of a 72h straight rush with the releases and all I got time to think about what some have said.
Indeed I have big ego, any artist who doesn't...?
When I am tired I tend to be moody too.
While I clearly said this is a one time 5 bucks request some might think it will be common practice...
if you really don't care or feel bad about what I am asking fine, drop me an Email and you will get the update for free, I am not blocking anyone to get updates and fixes, that would be nonsense.
I initially thought that it would be a no brainer but for a vocal minority it wasn't the case.
So indeed I was wrong to expect 100% support, that's kinda sad but it's reality for you.
Still these people supported me before actually buying a product in the first place and I would not feel good ignoring their point of view even if I disagree partially.

So It's now optional.
Drop me an Email so you all enjoy the update and I can enjoy the weekend...

Thank you for the rethink. It does mean a lot, maybe for future products, you should tell customers that there maybe payable only updates upfront, rather than springing it on them.

Thanks for reconsidering Aly!

It's just wrong to charge money for bugfix updates. If you want to lose your loyal customers, charging them for minor updates is the best way to do it.
Latest VPROM 2.0.4 is still a paid update because 'piracy happened'... Any other developer would treasure their paying customers, but Aly James makes them pay for the loss of income caused by piracy.

I know it's only $5 but that's not the point, it's just plain wrong making your customers pay extra for something they didn't have anything to do with. Paying customers didn't pirate his plugins, so why should they pay extra for it?

This is such a great simmons emu, I totally love it! ( I had a few HW SDS and SY1 ones years ago)

The new update is something else, it gives a lot of new tweaks and options.
The GUI overhaul is very good and the M1/M2 native support was really welcomed here since I transferred from Intel to AS just 2 weeks ago.

Now with this AS version and also M-tron Pro IV released this week I only need 2 or 3 more plugs to be updated and all will be native AS that I use.

Thanks Aly, much appreciated! And frankly, I didnt expect so many new features.

Also, release that syncussion man! Would love to drive that thing!

3 negative things:
- VST2 support removed
- No scalable GUI
- The whole "please pay me so I can be notified".....

Thanks! it's been a labor of love! Syncussion's Next
BTW all future updates for any plug-in will have Universal 2 (Native Silicon/Intel ) Mac VST3 + AU, on PC this includes an updated VST3 format.

This was a big update and I didn't mind paying for the upgrade at all. I absolutely could not get the Mac presets to install for whatever reason. Did the "Only me" option. Checked permissions. Just was not happening.

I didn't miss native Apple Silicon for VPROM right? Hoping that one comes soon as I just use that all the time.

Great update to VSDSX, good job Aly, hopefully Vprom gets the same treatment :)

Syncussion another instant buy for me....

Aly, I can't seem to find the EPROM binaries, presets are loaded fine, but when clicking on the load eprom, an empty folder appears.
There should be some there aready right?

From the updatelist:

Many UI unlisted details you will discover and other nice things such as a full pack of original EPROM binaries

Cheers,

To anybody else reading this, feel free to PM me some EPROMS :)
