The latter, you can always contact Vojtech on the web site to ask to join.

First attempt at new, new knobs:

@ Style designers, please note that you can now have different knobs in Panels, Controls and Displays. Go get the latest Style Editor.

Hey Vojtech, sorry that I missed this topic. I just wrote you an email with a screenshot and two ideas, while I now see what you already came up with. I really like the locator line, but how do you mean "not a bug", if it is not there. Will it be there in the final update, or do you really plan to have no locator at all? In my mail I already wrote that I find it very hard to see in which state a knob is with the new design, while having no locator at all. I hope that you will come up with something that will have at least some kind of locator in the end, hehe. For everything else some people here and you will probably have a much better graphical feeling than me, haha. I am curious. :D

I like the reverb knobs, BUT, I wish the knob was coloured instead of the outer ring.
You see the colour is important to let people know in a very fast and intuitive way, what the controls will be, before they read them. There is a consistent theme running through all the plugins, that some users will not realise they already know, but subliminally they do. Green = EQ/Filter, Cyan = Stereo/Pan etc.

The outer bars are not always visible depending on the origin and current value, so we would lose the colouring in many cases.

How about swapping it round so the knob is coloured and the outer ring is not.

I prefer it the way it is now. I don't like colored knobs

As the OP pointed out, "I know (as Vojtech often points out) design is very subjective", design i very subjective. Unfortunately the design of the MeldaProduction plugins is what's keeping me from using the ones I have, as well as purchasing the MSoundFactory (so far). I don't really click with the design, and find it cumbersome to work with, even though I see, and understand, that this is a part of what's making the MeldaProduction plugins so powerful. You can do EVERYTHING in these plugins.

I'm much more intrigued using/working with Phase Plant (from Kilohearts), even though I haven't purchased it yet and Falcon (from UVI), which I believe are, both, very strong competitors to MSoundFactory. But I might probably end up with MSoundFactory anyway, as the intro price is hard to resist :)

Love the reverb knobs as well, they are perfect IMO!

Thank you guys. Here's my second go:

Image

-- two different types of knobs (Delay is in a "Control", Reverb is in as "Panel",
-- with a line pointer normally, or a circular indent when clicked / dragged,
-- light grey, italicised titles (NB they cannot be centralised as then they could clash with the caption buttons).

There's a buglet, I think. I have asked Vojech about it.

You can turn the colour off in the settings.

Looks good. I would prefer the outer ring to be completely colourless (in the delay control)
The line turning into a dot doesn't really have a function to me, but it makes it feel a bit more sophisticated, so I kind if like that.

Also why are there different shades of colour between control types? Maybe its saturation right?
Is it possible to make them all the same so that they match each other?
