ArtsAcoustic still alive?

Oh yeah, I forgot about AAR being included in Avenger. I wonder if Manuel Schleis knows anything at all about what happened to AAR?
It's strange that the website is still up, too. Someone is paying for it...

definite buyer beware that one
it's like Crysonic, without any KVR moderation.
I feel like i need to keep dropping warnings so nobody gives them any more money.
i'm tempted to try AGAIN to sort out my email and serials with them but it's futile really
I have the reverb running on my M1 macbook, but the GUI is tiny... the compressor and phaser won't run on an M1, but they are insanely buggy on any OS anyway (blue screens of doom buggy).
That compressor man... like i say i bought the Softube CL on the recent sale, which handles most bass duties so well, but the arts acoustic CL was so grippy and so light on the CPU i never really found a replacement for. I just keep rubbing salt into my own wounds don't I ?

I wouldn't put them in quite the same boat as Crysonic, who were committing outright fraud by the end there. But I have to assume, if someone went through a purchase on their website, they would receive nothing, merely because there's no one there to respond. They should take down the shop framework for sure.sqigls wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2024 11:35 pm definite buyer beware that one

is there anyone reading this whom actually has received a reply or any correspondence from Arts Acoustic in the last 5 years or so?

Interestingly, their domain expires on the 6th of January 2025 so it'll be interesting to see if it's renewed again. It was last updated on the 7th of January 2024 (likely the yearly renewal).
There were multiple people at ArtsAcoustic that I had dealt with via email and they were all such lovely and talented people. The plugins still sound incredible, even against the current available plugins today.
I definitely at least recall dealing with two really nice guys, Alexander and Oliver, and there's also Nick who has posted here many times in the past.
Here's Alexander: https://de.linkedin.com/in/alexander-sc ... er-7a9b723 His LinkedIn even lists ArtsAcoustic, saying May 2005 - Present.
I suspect this is Oliver: https://www.discogs.com/artist/1609726- ... C3%BCdecke
If anyone has the courage to reach out, feel free to give it a shot.
P.S.: I'm going to try sending them all an email now, but perhaps don't get your hopes up!

I may reach out. I feel like it's pretty obvious they don't want to be contacted, but it's tempting...cheers!

No worries, I tend to agree but I sent all 3 of the guys an email since I had their email addresses from previous contact anyway. As you said, I think it's extremely unlikely I'll hear anything back.bduffy wrote: Thu Dec 05, 2024 12:37 am Wow, that's great legwork!

As much as I love the products, I personally can't comprehend why the company wouldn't at least put out some sort of statement after being absent for almost a decade.
