Since I visited this topic 6 years back, few of the youngsters I knew about with cracked Abletons and legal "rent to owned" Serum 2 really apreciated Ableton's recent rent to own offering. Just saying.

I want to see an honest and comprehensive statistic as to what percentage of rent-to-own contracts are actually followed through from start to finish. My personal hunch is, this is less than 10%, making it one of the most expensive payment models in the industry. After all, normal subscription services have much lower monthly fees than rent-to-own ones.
