About Vintage Mode: this simulates the behaviour of older EM pedals (Green Label ones), with a thinner timbre and a different Rate potentiometer taper.

If I understand well, vintage mode ON is like having an Electric Mistress whereas if OFF it’s the Deluxe Electric Mistress ? It’s confusing (for me) because the 2 models are vintage, aren’t they ?
Does Thru Zero ON departs from the emulated models ?
No critics, it’s just that I’m discovering « vintage » flangers thanks to your plugin (which sounds very different from Live flanger for instance) this great flanger seems to be far more than what it says on the can ! Thanks !

Sweeping the Range knob isn't smooth when the Filter Matrix is engaged. Can this be improved?

I reckon, vintage off is Deluxe Electric Mistress V4 Reissue, late 90's batch.

Vintage on is aiming at original Mistress models from late 1970's, early 80's.

I asked to tell more about how vintage mode in Electric Matter was achieved, but no reply was provided. Internal secrets best kept secret, I guess.

To me vintage sounds less dark, less "boxy", I guess, due to less filtered modulation compared to Deluxe. More clean headroom, brighter, more modulation content present in high freq. Sounds better on those early Andy Summers, Gilmour guitars.

Tried to match Bjorn (Gilmourish) settings for his 1977 Mistress V3 in El Matter's vintage mode, I found it sounded close enough in comparison. It's worth remembering that EHX production wasn't super consistent and even on the hardware the potentiometers didn't always match and same knob settings could sound different from pedal to pedal.

Tried V3 settings in vintage mode with Valhalla Delay Run like Hell preset, with some minor tweaks, voila, sounds like candy pretty much from the get go. Adding a rotary speaker made it sound even closer. I hope we finally get Audiority rotary speaker this year or next. Taurus Dopplex would be very nice. Here's a couple running in and out of sync modulation, simulating Gilmour's out of sync double rotary speaker setup with slightly varied speed rates for each https://www.facebook.com/TaurusElectron ... 2851157794 Waves of lush goodness entering my ear! And these are just the one-speaker DX16. Two-speaker DX26 variants (like the original 1994 Doppola was designed) will sound even better.

Dyna Comp '76 script and old Boss CS-2 comps would come handy as well. For now I used Fazertone freebie, knobs are a bit buggy, so Audiority's take on these is still very welcome!

Unfortunately, hardly anyone touches the old Yamaha RA-200 because it weighs one hundred pounds or thereabouts, subsequently, customs tax and logistics expense end up being considerably more expensive than the cabinet itself, which is ridiculous
