I can confirm. Weak and dull pickups, poor strings and paltry trem block.
Worth some £20 - £30 alnico pickups from Asia. And a bigger block to fit 40mm body.

Update. I tried another Antiquity Strat that was full of chime and spank. The other guitar I tried must have had electronic issues.
