GForce Oddity 3 is here

The GF site is very sluggish, and slow. I will wait another day or two.

I own V2, is there an upgrade price to V3 ? If Yes, where do I see it ? I don't see an option for upgrades ?

That's right, but it would be nice if that info was included somewhere on the site or in the advertising emails.

I own V2 and it does not discount in the basket for me (and yes I am looking at the bottom of the page). When I click check out (after 10 minutes) it goes to the pay page at full price. I am logged in.

That's a good price. I highly rate GForce (impOSCar still my goto sw synth), but sadly they don't code that many synths that appeal to me. I possibly would have bought this, but I got a B2600 so it won't do anything I can't do with that. Someone mentioned a Wasp on the GForce website - got one of those too .
Obies just don't appeal to me, Moogs even less so. It would be great if GForce did something esoteric like a Polyvoks (only ever seen vids of those and they sound unique and beautifully aggressive) or maybe a Jupiter6. Still, Oddity3 will be good, I have no doubt. I played around with the original Oddity and it was top notch for the time.

I own V2 but will be buying upgrade think it looks and sounds great. Some of the V3 patches are incredible

I don't know the Behringer, but does it have polyphony? Assignable LFOs and ADSRs for almost all controls? There are lots of sounds here you can't get on an Odyssey or 2600.

Why no unison? It just makes Oddity sound weak next to Korg's ARP Odyssey. I have the same problem with GForce's SEM - without unison it can't stand up to bx_oberhausen.

I suspect they are using the juce framework for oddity 3 since it has a bug that appears in a lot plugins that use JUCE for gui duties
WHen clicking on a note on the gui keyboard , and then triggering the plugin from my pc keyboard (renoise ) , some notes are registerd a semitone below the actual note , E plays as E-flat etc...I think it has to do with JUCE using querty as standard
C'mon gforce fix the ugly text aliasing , right click picture and select "show in new tab" to see the actual screenshot size

Took a while with some timeouts but eventually got my payment through and made it back to my account, which had my license. Good UI, so different to have a good browser, I barely browsed any of the preset banks of V2. The text is pretty small/blurry for a large interface though.
