For me is Reason Rack

Ask those developers to also make them available as CLAP plugins !!

I have no idea if the Reason app could be enough or every single internal device needs to be ported, and, when it comes to the third party RE… God help us if that’s the bottleneck!

If you're using Reason to use the built-in synths and REs, just Reason itself needs to be made CLAP-compatible. If you are using it as a plugin host, there are far better, thinner hosts available.

I used Reason since 2.5 but as soon Reason Rack became available, I've rarely got into the App.
Even then, when needed, I used MuLab with Rewire to run Reason.
The Rack is an exceptional tool (Players are superb). Following your Reasoning then, once Reason app is ported to CLAP, the Rack should automatically function as a CLAP plugin...

For now I'm running RR in Ableton.

Dragonfly early reflection has freezing problem.

DragonFly is doing something weird with the GUI system, also noticable in Reaper. I draftly suspect the issue is on plug side.

And Roughrider3 not loading not displaying.

Just little question is the a discord channel for Mulab or any kind of collaborative wiki for mulab ? Would be nice having bigger community ? Not everybody is english nativ to explain problems and solutions.

There is no MuLab discord channel yet, afaik. This forum is the central point for users. I don't think we would benefit to spread user interactions over different places, right? What advantages do you see in discord over this forum?

What's changed:

• It could happen that upon loading a project/preset that uses CLAP plugins with audio inputs, there was a static sound until this plugin really received audio input. Fixed.
• Fixed a bug that blocked inserting CLAP plugins with mono audio inputs/outputs.
• Added support for CLAP plugins that use specific key names.
• Proper support for CLAP plugins with multiple event input/output ports.

Great work JO! Now able to run Surge and Odin 2.

Further testing reveals that CLAP plugins are not yet processing midi signals such as pitch bend, brightness, aftertouch. These are being recorded to the track from midi controller, but having no effect in the plugin.

• MIDI events other than notes were not properly reaching CLAP plugins. Fixed.
• CLAP plugins with multiple event inputs could receive unsorted events. Fixed.

• Support for CLAP plugins. This is a first basic support level for CLAP plugins, equivalent to VST2, yet future-proof thanks to the open license. Thx to the CLAP dev team
• Improved VST2 support.

This is great. One of the primary reasons I use MuLab is how well it integrates plugins with my multitude of hardware synths, and how easy it makes all the routing, so I'm pleased to see it getting some attention. Also happy to see an open standard getting support. Reliance on proprietary standards that can be changed or revoked on the whims of the owner is always troubling.

If 9.2 Mulab is about adding clap which is a great thing is it OK to ask ahead of time what the plans are for 9.3? I need to try some. Clap plugins in mulab

No crashes here either. Been loading some older projects with vst's and audio - all fine!

Not significant but a couple of log files attached showing VPM errors with vst plugins:
1: loading Dune 3 - this error did not occur with mulab 9.1
2: loading Tyrell N6 - this error also occurs in mulab 9.1 but not with mulab 8.x

I don't know what the error means, it seems to have no material effect with the plugins or the sounds, but it may highlight something useful so posted here.
