Some Tape plugins that never get mention

1. Steinberg Yamaha Open Tape Deck
2. Overloud Tapedesk
3. CD Soundmaster VTM-M2 + R2R (Nebula)

In individual tracks I use TAIP from BabyAudio (The Glue slider does wonders for vocals) and Wavesfactory Cassette as well as Reels from AT. On the Masterbus I use T-RackS Tape Machines (80 or the Tascam 6100Mkii) or TAIP on certain things (just back up off the saturation and turn the lo-shape slider to the right).

The thing I love about TAIP is that you can blend in everything to taste. If I had to choose just one, it most likely would be TAIP (or Cassette - it let‘s you only enable and disable aspects though if one could blend in the frequency curves, saturation and compression instead of just on and off, that would be my favourite)

Oh and I love Klevgrand’s reamp but use it more like a saturator with EQ than a Tape Plugin

Ik Tapes are so good. Yea, i'm struggling to have they on every track because of high cpu usage, but the sound and the controls are great.
Instead of using Ik Tapes on every track, i put a Saturator X with Tape settings instead, and only one Tape 80 on the master, not so colorful but still a nice compromise.

I use Softube Tape for my main tape emulation, but I’m interested in the Lofi cassette-type plugins. I use Origin, and I find it helpful sometimes. I’d like more camparisons in the cassette area.

the prices are great but unfortunately they seem to be quite buggy on mac, both crashed waveform‘s sandbox repeatedly
