yeah, I know, I bought that CD when I was young...it's like 10 years old or something...still, it fun for shits and giggels...really, when I want smart music I usually listen to hardcore D'n'BChurchy wrote:all that speedcore/noisecore stuff like Bloody Fist just annoys me ; it's so kiddy
The stuff i normally listen to is industrial/hardcore/techno ; the smarter stuff - very hard but not just angry-teenager kinda stuff
rude awakening, void settler, ophidian, kay d smith, armageddon project, etc
anyway .. the kicks on the above artists are still 100x harder and stronger than bloody fist crap

How about terrorizer? Taped on an 8 track or something. Really ruff sounding.

Venetian Snares' "Doll Doll Doll", "Winter in the Belly of a Snake", and "Find Candace".Chase wrote:Have you ever been in the mood where it seems no music is hardcore enough? Like no music seems to be fast or intense enough.
I'm sitting in my room with Sony 700's BLARGING into my ears. I've tried Dieselboy, Dom and Roland, Tech Itch, Korn, Marylin Manson, Metallica, all that fun. It just seems the hardest metal and darkest Drum n' Bass just aren't doing the job.
So let me ask you: What songs do you listen to when nothing else seems hard enough?
Trust me.
A well-behaved signature.

Napalm Death - Harmony Corruption

Fudgetunnel - Hate songs in E minor
Neurosis is still better than all these & these are the best in my collection and memory, although I'm outta coffee & I'm not awake yet, so I'm sure I'm missing one or two..
All fantastic stuff, with my personal exception of Slipknot. Never really got into them. Regardless, you (along with Bunnyboy, dystonia_ek, and Acolmiztli) have the best damn taste in music on this board. Very rarely do I see you guys talking about something that I don't like.
Bunnyboy wrote:Acolmiztli wrote: None of these bands mentioned that I've heard are as hardcore as Anaal Nathrahk, thats some seriously f**ked up music - in a good way.
Still yet to hear them, but a grinding riff, hard beats and screaming is always good![]()
For a good taste of them, listen to the song Pandemonic Hyperblast. One of the best Black Metal releases in years, if you don't mind the drum machine.
Sunn O))) is fantastic! I love Runhild Gammelsaeter, she's probably has the most extreme female growl in metalBunnyboy wrote:

Have you heard her old group Thorr's Hammer? (Dommedagsnatt, 1995) Great slow, dirge-like death metal. She's got a voice more brutal than most GUYS on that album!
Although not the heaviest on the album, Religion Instigates is one of my all time fav's.herodotus wrote: Of course for hardcore in the old school sense, Discharge was really ahead of their time.
That album, "Why" was really, really, influential.
Other good bands sort of in the same vein:
Amebix
Chaos U.K.
Conflict
Doom
Oi Polloi
Nausea
And personally, I don't care how elitist or wrong they were about things, sometimes, when you need to hear someone get REALLY pissed about government, there is NO substitute for CRASS. Steve Ignorant puts so much emotion behind that voice, it puts others to shame.

I've always felt that this stuff was comedic in the way that Wes Craven movies are comedic. It's almost as if there is a contest to see who can come up with the funniest song name - with the appropriate band shot of angry white boyz.Churchy wrote:all that speedcore/noisecore stuff like Bloody Fist just annoys me ; it's so kiddy
Here are a few that I'd do if I were wanting to metalize my life again:
1. Your Entrails in a MacDonalds Deep Fry
2. Climactic Gymnastics Accidental Groin Smash
3. Murderous Emoticon
4. Fists of Fury (seepage remix)
5. A Cut Above
6. Smell the Glove... oh wait...
7. Vultures Ripped My Flesh... oh wait...
8. J is for Jab Your Eyes Out
9. S is for Speedcore (Bradbury mix)
10. Viral Lunch Lady

That's a great typo. Reminds me of some of Anal c**t's song titles:
Extreme Noise Terror Are Afraid of Us
I Snuck a Retard into a Sperm Bank
I Ate Your Horse
No, We Don't Want to Do a Split Seven Inch With Your Stupid f**king Band
I Gave Nambla Pictures of Your Kid
Living Colour Is My Favorite Black Metal Band
Fore Play With a Tree Shredder
Having to Make up Song Titles Sucks
And speaking of Your Entrails in a MacDonalds Deep Fry, has anyone here heard Coven? They sound like Dream Death, but they're ultra funny/dumb. Made me think of their song "McDonaldland Massacre":
McDeath.
He's fed up with fast food,
Out of his mind, one mad dude.
Grabbed his guns, went downtown.
Mr. McDeath is coming to track Ronald down.
Now the golden arches are bloodstained red.
Ronald is dead... took a bullet in his head.
(Chorus)
May I take your order please?
NOOOO!!!!!
May I help you sir?
NOOOO!!!!!
McDonaldland Massacre!
He came inside, took a seat
They didn't know he didn't come to eat
Asked for his order, got a bullet instead.
Ronald can't help... Ronald is dead.
May I take your order please?
NOOOO!!!!!
Oh my god he's got a gun!
McDonaldland Massacre!
Ronald is dead, lying on the floor,
The Grimace took a bullet trying to run out the door.
Hamburglar's brains all over Mayor McCheese, and
he won't let you go, even if you say please.
Quarter Pounder, Big Mac, Fillet 'O Fish and fries,
it doesn't matter what you order, everybody dies!
