At first I thought I would be fine with only B2, but Aether really does have its own distinct "extremely transparent but completely present" sound. Must be that early reflections algorithm among other things... B2 is great for its excellent character it can impart but to my ears now it sounds very different than Aether. It's great to have both
and of course breeze when I am doing simple tasks though it is still quite capable. It can easily take the place of B2 for me on percussion and for other basic single engine B2 type uses where
I don't need much complexity.

Yes, the ER engine in Aether is completely unique compared to B2 and Breeze.Voice303 wrote:At first I thought I would be fine with only B2, but Aether really does have its own distinct "extremely transparent but completely present" sound. Yes I think Breeze is great on drums and vocals too for "simple spaces".
Thanks for the feedback!

We've just updated Aether (and all other verbs) to fix a compatibility issue with Bitwig that had been previously reported. We are keeping the version number the same, as this is the only change. If you are an Aether customer who uses Bitwig you can grab the update using the info found here:
http://2caudio.com/support/updates#_aether
We've posted new demo versions as well:
http://2caudio.com/sitecontent/products ... mo_OSX.zip
http://2caudio.com/sitecontent/products ... mo_Win.zip
If you are a Perfect Storm customer you can update all three in one download:
http://2caudio.com/support/updates#_perfectstorm
If you do not use the Bitwig host, there is no need to do anything.

i stumbled upon the 2CAudio site and Aether just this morning.
lots of emotional posts.
i am looking for a space-design tool.
Aether seems to fit the bill.
and compared, i think the price is reasonable.
of course, a little fore-knowledge of a 4th of JULY BLOWOUT SALE would give me some patience.

i am using Presonus Studio One 3.2.2, i have the Abbey Roads Plate VST from Waves - LOVE IT! but good god, cpu pig.
i tried the 2CAudio demos, they don't seem to suck cpu resources like the AR Plates.
thoughts?
thanks in advance.

Don't forget to take those FX presets from Joseph Trapanese.
They are really good!

@hodshonf
regarding CPU.
There are different quality settings for realtime and offline rendering, which I really like.

probably you are cut/pasting a space.aMUSEd wrote: I keep getting 'Invalid Coupon Code'
we have in the new web store... it's not quite done (it's overdue), but it's getting quite close. Pretty sure you'll love it. Updates are more simple, yes.aMUSEd wrote: Wish you would get rid of this rigmarole to update every time

I will give a short description how to create perfect hall or any other space with depth, and details for perfection.
Advice:
1. Keep the ER Width, and LR Width on default position =100
2. Keep the all Q=0.65
3. Keep the LR Cross up to 25 the most..
4. Keep the ER Cross about 1-3,
5. Use cascade to ER up to 10-20 the most to tighten the dynamic response without ovrsmpl. and don't forget to close ER level to -inf. because we used serial cascade.

All other parameters you can use however you want.
