I could not find a shortcut to close the VST window. Is there any?
z3ta is one of the reasons I stay in Windows....
Try right-click on the borders of the window => context menu => "Move To Top-Left".liquidsound wrote:On a 1366x768 laptop screen the new z3ta+2 opens up too high and the close button can not be used and it get stuck open. The only way to close the VST interface is to DELETE it.

Not yet possible. An "Event Recorder" is on the wishlist, with relative high priority.Nielzie wrote:How do I set MuLab up to record the midi out from one track to another?
When I put a midi sequencer in Rack 1 and send its output to Rack 2 where I've put an instrument, then the instrument plays the incoming notes as expected. That works fine. But now I would like to record those midi notes to a track. Must be possible, but how?

It is possible with a little workaround...Nielzie wrote:How do I set MuLab up to record the midi out from one track to another?

But I did a quick test with virtual midi ports... I use Maple VMC here...
Activate a virtual Midi In and Out (both same numbers, e.g. Maple Midi Input 1 and Maple Midi Output 1...the virtual output route it's signals direct to the input) from the virtual Midiport in the menu "MULAB > Midi Setup" page
...insert a midi output in the session modular area and route the event output 1 from the rack, which holds the VSTi whose output you want to record, to the created midi output
...doubbleclick the midi output module to set the output device
... set the focus to the track on which you want to record and hit the record button
...stop...name the recorded sequence and the recorded content should appear...
It's working here...
Hmmm I will try with loopMIDI.. because Maple VMC won't work for me on Win7 64-bit. Thanks.Trancit wrote:

This is what I tested on Dec, 18th:

Ok, done.Trancit wrote: Ths output Port 2 has to be "loopMIDI Port 1" as well...
When I double click the midi output module I get the Midi Setup menu again. Which output should I set to which device?doubbleclick the midi output module to set the output device
This is what i recently wrote: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 54#4802654janamdo wrote:That is why i MULAB ask to come up with a midi out recorder, but that is along time ago and MULAB seems to be deaf for this request.
Is the little speaker at the bottom of the Rack.DHR53 wrote:Any chance a beat programmer will be added to the MuDrum i.e. a 16/32 beat grid for the pads... I guess this could be a plugin also specifically for drums. I can do what I need to do with the piano roll, but it's always nice to be able to have the grid adjusted specifically for the drum pad. i.e. 1/32 for snare 1/4 for kick etc. The MuDrum is the best drum tool I've used lately!
Also... I just noticed there is no mute/solo buttons on the racks? Hmmm... can't believe I didn't notice that before but is turning the track on and of the only way to do that?
No ofcourse not, but i hope it don't stay with a promise from your sitemutools wrote: Did you forget about my and your answer so quickly?
By the way: MULAB has no ears...
