Got to agree with with this statement.

Back to the KLC migration/update/new product(s).

To this date (Please comment):

1. Korg finally corrected the Windows installers, those work. You get the new installers via the same link you were sent by mail during the migration process.

2. BUT...NOT any improvements in the GUI, someone said in this thread that there are some improvements, I have not noticed any so far. The purpose of this "update" is unclear for me. :?:
If we are expecting new update with a better GUI, why "update" now, especially when this updating process seems to be that difficult to organize correctly to the Korg.

3. Concerning the KORG new ARP ODYSSEY. I got the upgrade code, but haven´t used it so far.
How would you compare the Korg Odyssey with other Odyssey software emulations in the market?
Is it worth $ 49, in these days when you get e.g. Arturia upgrade with 4 new instruments by a couple of hundreds? :?: :?: :?:

I dunno, like I said, it sits well next to U-he's newest synths for my ears. It is worth it to me because I want it, that's the real valuation that matters. But if it were @ $99 I would probably have started to consider Oddity as well. For the price, I think it is the best Arp emulation I can find.

Have you got the Arturia Arp 2600? How would you compare
- the accuracy of the emulations, the GUI etc.
- the difference of the sound(worlds) of these two.

The both Arp models were launched in the early 70´s (1971 and 1972). What are the main differencies soundwise?

I have the 2600v, I don't really like the filters, it doesn't sound creamy at all like the Arps I hear on old records, the Korg does. The Korg screams Arp to my ears, I start getting flashbacks to old songs when I play it. I just can't say the same of the 2600V. It is an older emulation though, it isn't so fair a comparison. I just don't get as much out of it I like and not very easily like the Korg.

This is pretty interesting:

It sounds great. I would put it close in a league to other outstanding emulations (or component modeling) of vintage/analog like Repro, P900 and a few others and i think the unison is one of the fattest i heard yet. It don´t get thinned out so much like many others do.
So can anyone confirm if the high CPU usage is also on mac or seems it a windows problem only so far.
It´s so damn tiny to play on my iPhone. Or do i really have to buy a 12.9" iPad Pro to enjoy it.
But there the full version are no AUv3, means you can just use one instance or have to use the limited Gadget version called Lexington.

The cpu use is not that bad. Sound is imo in league with Repro, and so is CPU. My computer is 5 years old now and plays both just fine.
