I don't have one, but a while ago I was able to purchase the R13 upgrade for $69. There's a chance it could happen again during a sale (May Madness should be the next big sale unless LANDR changes it).

Some people don't want to bother with bloatware and signing up for two different accounts just to get loops. Hence my informational post.

Each individual can then decide for themselves if the hoops are worth jumping through or not.

It's designed to get their hooks into your system so not an altogether altruistic move but hey it worked on at least one person.

Fair point. I didn't find the pulse software too intrusive, though. You can uninstall it after you've downloaded the product, back up the files and never have to deal with pulse again. Yes, an inconvenience, but a minor one in my book.
