The colored pads aren't that warm colored in compare when using push with Ableton they are kinda too white to say and this happens with native color pallets and custom they are not matching with each other Color pallets and push 2 buttons . Not sure if this fixable. Thank you in advance and guten rutsch ins Neue Jahr
Hi! I have painstakingly put together all the colors in Bitwig that Push 2 can show

Just select ->'import from image' from the color selector

Better than nothing :)

Hi together,

I am using DrivenByMoss previous latest version on Bitwig 2.7.

I managed to receive osc messages in plugdata, i.e. play on and off.

But when I try to send the nessage /play to bitwig from plugdata( via oacformat), Inget a NoSuchElement exception of the extension in bitwig.

I then activated the debug log, but I did not manage fo find its file location on macos.

Can someone maxbe help me out with the error, or with the logfile path?

Thanks in advance and kind regards!

Hi,
first of all, thank you for this amazing extension.

I have a question, the pitch bend wheel on my MIDI controller has a loose contact and I get unwanted pitch shifts from time to time. I'm currently trying to "switch off" the pitch bend wheel using the Generic Flexi Controller. Is this possible? And if so, what do I have to do?

Cheers

Ah, I think I found it. "Route Pitchbend" set to Off did the trick.

Please post the full exception text (you can find it in the script console).

HI there

I have a feature request. can we get an update for the flexi which indicates somehow which slots are already assigned? maybe even some color indicator setting which can help us identify what type of control we have applied? Its hard to keep track of all the slots and what is what.

I am afraid this is the best you can get since I cannot program a proper user interface with this. These are just setting elements.

Thanks

Thanks can we get an option to use the mouse scroll wheel to change the numbered slot?

Again: I can only create the settings. After that I can only hide or dis-/enable them. There is no control over the mouse or graphics.

is seems flexi select previous track and select next track are not working. I keep having to reprogram the flexi script for the digitakt. I know I had it right and then all of the sudden it doesnt work. I think I know what is happening. I am using the Digitakt with the folded keyboard and scales mode (set to minor). So pressing the same button is somehow changing the midi cc depending on the scale. I switched scales and pressed the same button pad and a differnt midi cc is detected. However I never changed the scale during the session but the digitakt loses the flexi programming on the pads anyway. Something must be happening behind the scenes. Do you think that is the issue ? I suppose it is. even if I finally get it programmed and working if I change the scale then the pads will change midi cc values and the script wont work. I was hoping to use the Digitakt as a proper midi controller with the flexi to control 8 plugins at once but it looks like it cant do it using the pads. knobs only. If you know a way please let me know. https://www.elektronauts.com/t/auto-cha ... ysex/60063

Another issue is the setting select next rack goes to first track instead. perhaps these settings are not all labelled correctly. Everytime I press the button it goes to the first track.

Also when running the flexi script on launch control xl at the same time using the script for akaie fire sometimes throws a memory error popup even though it is working.

Sorry one more thing. So using the Flexi script I created 2 midi channels each sending midi cc70-77 to device parameter 1 -8. one midi channel is sending on 9 and the other on 10. I saved the script. The issue is that unless the device is selected the knobs wont change the remote control knobs in the vst (device parameters 1-8). What I want to do is select my hardware track on midi channel 9 and move the knobs to control the device receiving ion channel 9, and a differnt plugin receiving those remote control parameters on midi channel 10. Both channels send to the device pages when a device is selected. also it wont send unless a device is selected. Bitwig support tells me this is how remote control pages work. Yikes. Each track can receive its own midi note information. So i do not know why this is. Can you please explain what is going on so I can understand better?

Moved here from the Reaper forum, sorry about that mixup. Posting here with more detail, since Bitwig may be more capable in some areas than Reaper.

I have used your script on many devices, and Maschine Mk3 + Touch Screen Laptop is my favorite portable solution for Composing & Performing. The built in audio interface, screen, encoders, touch strip, sensitive drum pads, wealth of buttons, and pedal inputs make this a very powerful, user friendly combo.

I'd like too suggest the following in Bitwig for Maschine Mk3 support:
1) Add the large Editor screen to be toggled with the "Arrange" in configuration settings (or Shift+Arrange). This is my most requested feature, as I toggle regularly between Arrange and Edit view (keeping Device open on bottom panel)

2) Add a similar option for the smaller sub-panel on bottom, using Shift+Mixer. This would be handy for viewing Arrange and Edit at the same time.

3) Button to zoom into the clip length and/or notes already written, or do it automatically when Editor is open. Helpful for quickly editing notes.

4) Add Note Editing features like Maschine/MPC/Studio One workflow in Editor view, such as selecting multiple notes, finely nudging selected notes (keystroke shift+left/right), transposing selected notes (keystroke up/down), shortening/lengthening notes, duplicating selected notes (use existing Shift pads), and erasing notes (use Erase). I believe these would work in Bitwig, since keyboard commands can do this.

The benefit of these requests is to use Maschine Mk3 as an all-in-one controller with a touch-screen device (MS Surface, Steamdeck, 2-in-1 laptop) without needing the computer keyboard or another device to perform editing functions used during composition. It keeps the focus on the hands on controls and occassional touch-screen for selection. Similar workflow to modern MPC, but without its limitations.

Bitwig supports touch editing commands but it's quick touch commands.. and it can be slower to navigate.

I'd love to see these features on other controllers as well, but this is hands down my favorite all-in-one solution for DAW control (including the Push in Ableton or Bitwig). It's very powerful and intelligently laid out!

I'm excited to resurrect my Novation Remote SL 37.. I used to love using this controller back in the day and after hooking it up today, I realized that it's not working as expected, so excited to put this extension to use..

Had a a very specific question related to this controller: do I need to be in a specific template number to properly use this extension? This came with all of these preset templates for different DAWs and VSTs. I wasn't sure if I need to be on a specific template number to not conflict with anything. Any guidance there would be appreciated. And thank you again for the hard work on this. Very exciting!!
