Triple Cheese is an old build and only Protoverb is new. I did not change anything.

Can you get a backtrace of the crash? On archlinux after the crash, open a terminal, then start "coredumpctl gdb". It will start a gdb session over the previous coredump, then can you please type "info threads" and for each threads, "t 1" then "bt", and for the thread 2, "t 2" and then "bt", and so on...

The u-he plugins will run in Carla if you select Settings->Configure Carla->Engine and check "Run plugins in bridge mode when possible". Not sure what this does exactly... (this is latest carla-git in kxstudio 14.04)
