OK,

Dimi, is that your new guitar? It doesn't sound like your Ibanez anymore.
Sound is very responsive to the volume poti. It's not really my sound but it sounds like a tube guitar amp.

PLEASE: Give us some modern heavy riffing! Something more phat than this demo. You know, dropped tuning, thick strings. Not Rock but Heavy, NuMetal, whatever you call it. Take my guitar sound and make it BETTER! Dunno if that is it what people call chuggachugga?!? :hihi: Don't care for the name.

Bottomline: Really interesting. Rene, I'm very interested.

All the best and stay on it, FRitz

Yes it is! My new Ibanez RG2550 with Dimarzio IBZ's

I'll replace them with DIMRZ Paf-Pros soon.

Yes it sounds like real tube amp! Great work
MidiWorks! :-o

I admit, the volume response is great on that soundfile.
Sonically it *could* perhaps be a bit tighther at the bottom end, for those lusting after serious riffage, but maybe it's just a matter of actually playing the thing.
Anyways, this MP3 is sounding most promising!
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Sorry to be asking an illfitted question, but is this a payware or a donation/freeware project??

Post

It will be a payware project. Rene will be offering special pricing to people in low-income countries, but the rest of us fat pigs in the US, UK, most of the EU, and Canada will be paying.

If the demos hold up, it will be well worth it!

Count me in among the impressed ones! The response demo was really really good. Seems like we're gonna have an amp sim that actually sounds lika a tube amp after all.

Looking very much forward to this one

Actually, in the UK there is a slight skew in the favour of the gals...

:hihi:
In the *population* perhaps, but not in the number of players who can shred on a BC Rich :-)

Post

Ok just a scary thought, what if this is actually a real amp and not an amp sim...... :hihi:

..... yes, this really sounds like a real thing.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments ! :)

Here again the Response demo link:

I always said, the release will be when I am 100% happy, not any time sooner.
Well, finally we are getting there ! :D

I am sure all of you will agree in the end,
that it was really worth the long wait.

Thanks again ! :)

As usual Sascha is spot on ! :D
I had a bad "bass BOOOOM" in the used (not final) cab,
so I simply filtered all below 350hz. :P

If you like I can remake that file,
giving more low end this time. ;)

Please don't forget in the final version, you will have control over such things.
You can always adjust the sound to your needs
and make it sit perfectly in your mix !

:)
