Looks like on iTunes the latest copy of Computer Music magazine is being given away free today... of course it is in the form of an IPA file. Meaning, it appears one must own an actual apple i-device to open it. Anyone know of a method of opening it on android or Windows so I can register it on my CM Vault account?

How problematic is the soft version of eLicenser? I'm thinking about the PPG Wave 3.V upgrade, demoing now, but I don't have anything else that uses eLicenser. Don't want a hardware dongle, and the eLicenser install kept warning me to back my (demo) license up on a physical eLicenser, so if there's a disk crash it won't be lost.
Will Waldorf/Steinberg/eLicenser really refuse to set you up again if a disk crash loses a soft license? I don't worry about that with any other software, copy protected or not. I'd expect flak if every week I kept telling them I needed a new license, but all disks and computers die eventually, and I assume reputable companies can deal.
Has anyone had this happen? Did it resolve in a reasonable way?

I only see a trial issue offered for free, like all the magazines from this company. Nothing special for today.VitaminD wrote:Looks like on iTunes the latest copy of Computer Music magazine is being given away free today... of course it is in the form of an IPA file. I do believe you are correct. It appears it is last month's issue for free. The image of the current issue in the top corner threw me off. ah well... still its a free issue!Ryan99 wrote:I only see a trial issue offered for free, like all the magazines from this company. Re the discounted Waldorf upgrades that I believe end today, if anyone has any thoughts about the PPG Wave 3.V as an instrument, please see my post about it in the Instruments forum and comment there, or weigh in here. Thanks.

Thanks, but did you get it to work?Fleer wrote:You're da man, Numanoid
I installed it, and then ran the activate plug, and got confirmation that it was sucessful.
But when I open the program, it still has the link to buying it, and when I go into the menu, there is an option for registration, where a serial number is required
Could it be that I didn't run the installer as administrator?

Well, Numanoid, just wanted to thank you because you find these things and share them with us.
I remember one of your posts getting me the UVI Grand Piano Collection for $50. Amazing deal.
This one wasn't for me though, as I'm not a Windows (tablet) user.
But thanks again anyway, you rock!
