The official social media guy from UAD told...
You mean the promo clown?
I wouldn't use these words, but it's him, yes.
He's gotten quite stiff lipped during the last week,
there seems a lot of internal wrong-going inside UAD.
In between I see the whole thing as an entertaining and educational live drama.

That guy's job suddenly went to hell - he spent 99% of his time pumping up the latest super cool magical console emulation pixie dust but now he's the public face of UAD. If companies want to have a forum rep to promote their wares they need to be ready for that official account to catch flak when they upset customers.

I just got an offer that I can purchase 6 plugins instead of 3 for 436 euro.
I guess they have mathematical problems there at UAD...

to me Distressor is 108 euro, but if I get 6 of them I only pay 436 euro.
If I get 44 of them I pay 327 euro instead.
MY head hurts.

LOL, UA has a made a big mess.

I am waiting for a reply on my request. Let's see.
Not much of the sale makes much sense against that amazing signature Bundle.

I wouldn't get much out of it, but what I would would still actually be very good price per plugin. I just don't need much, though some new instruments always fun.

Yeah, got to agree.

They're using older plugins as a bundle for new users. They're just actually being too generous and it devalues everything else they do.

They have some other great plug ins... But who'll pay $100 for anything now..?

Indeed. Signature Bundle for $299 (assuming you own the free LA-2A) is the best deal I have seen from them yet. Under $10 per plugin is insane. Amazing value even if you only use half the included plugins.

But even the Studio Bundle is awesome. It's only $50 less (considering the discount offer), but IMO it has the most useful plugins included. So, one can save $50 there if you don't want/need the additional plugins.

By the way, the custom 2/2, 3/6, 6/16, etc. bundles they have going are absolutely useless.

UA Connect is a horrendous way to download and update plugins because it breaks everything from time to time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. You have to close and reopen it. Sucks.

Well there are a lot of great tools not in the bundles... but they hardly look good value against the bundles any more.

I have the Analog Classics Bundle and some single purchases from the summer deals.

I wasn't expecting anything from support, but they finally wrote back a week later and made me an offer I couldn't refuse, lol.

Got Signature Bundle for £120 :hyper:

I've never had a problem with it, and don't find it horrendous, it just does it's job when I run it manually to download/update/activate something, and then close it again.

That's pretty good - I'd be in the same boat I guess (I picked up more than that in the Summer), but having to beg support for consideration for an offer seems somehow unseeming to me, and therefore doesn't really appeal...

Whatever.

Horrendous? Wow! A bit too far out. Just First World Problem drama. You should deescalate, bro.
