MuTools wrote: Mon Jun 02, 2025 3:46 pm A lot of video i draftly watched it by stepping thru it but i don't see anything relevant to the topic here. Pls help me spare time and write the relevant part.
Same here.
Meaning you also don't see anything relevant in that video? Then why did you post it? I can't follow.
Don't worry about it! We will see what Dav has to say...
Ok.
The friend who works with him was sending me the video, assuming it might show a piece of relevant code. I took his word for it, but it turned out there's nothing in there.
The JUCE usage and post processing example that comes with it is the only useful hint, because that appears to have brought about the input issue for him.
So, yeah, sorry about this. Didn't have time to check myself...

I don't see any samples in that zip, i assume i need them to recreate the squeak, no?
The samples are embedded in the mux file, play from e3 to f4

My mistake, sorry. Yes i hear the issue, researching it...

Oh, I meant to ask -- was it intended that all the factory MFO Transform PWM Process curves disappear in 10.0.56 with the move to freeform curves? I was going to recreate this patch in .56 but the process curve preset wasn't there and trying to draw it again freehand (when I've generally always used the presets) was ... challenging. I guess it'll need a new "full release" build to get them back.

Here is a (cut down) copy of the Multi-sampla mux
Pfew :phew: that was not an easy one.
The main bug is inside the multi-sampler and also exists in M9 / M10.*
It's when modulating pitch at audio rate for multiple stacked sample zones.
The "audio rate" aspect comes forward as a consequence of a little imperfection in the new curve rendering system, it should not do audio rate in this case. Both will be fixed. Thx for reporting this!

Wow! so the bug was exposed by the changes to the curve rendering system. Good job with the deep digging.
Your hard work is much appreciated! :tu:

Minor graphical glitch in the Plugins Manager: The "+" sign is missing from the button to add new category to a plugin.

Another glitch: I added a front panel component, Module On/Off Button in this case and it caused the Mux to close and exit the edit state. Also had a crash when saving the same mux. Sorry, not much more info at the moment.

Please send me the log file of that crashed MuLab session.

Checked it here using the default color settings and looks all right.
Could it be related to your custom color settings?

I can't repeat this.
Made a MFO with PWM Transform with specific Process Curve in M10.0.54 and loaded it in M10.0.57 and curve was intact.

Also: Not sure what you mean with "freeform curves".
The Process Curve is not free form but defined by the 9 parms like Curving, Edging, ...

It was ok before the update and I haven't changed anything. Could it be something you changed affected how it's coloured?

Please quit MuLab and then send me your MuLab/User/Settings/LooksSetup.xml file.

Ok, here's the Looks Setup file. Thanks.

The one with newest timestamp but before the time the crash occurred.
It might contain log lines talking about "Exception", most probably near the end of the log file.
(FYI: "exception" = tech word for crash; near the end of the log cause that's where MuLab was aborted)
