Nice, but could you please implement an AND/OR search option for the keywords and text search. Because by default it's AND, but sometimes, what you want is OR search.

And it shows ! Congratulations for this one, this is serious dedication and a great achievement. I'm sure your efforts will be paid back as I expect this synth to wipe the dance floors.

I thought a lot about that and that would be great, but it probably would depend on what scale a controller integration should happen or down to which level this template should go, respectively.
I wasn't envisaging control to the depth that you're suggesting. I'd certainly never need that.

Operating the browser from Kontrol would be nice. Not essential but still nice. And Avenger's browse tag system isn't a million miles from Kontrol's.

Wet/dry levels on effects is also v good, and the main filters.

Stuff that aids performance / song writing, rather than journey to the centre of the earth.

None of it is essential, but I wondered whether Manuel was NI-friendly, or prefers to ignore them.

...that's why I was asking. :)

...it's probably a lot better - it uses a timbre category right from the start. I get that NI dropped this with transitioning from the Kore browser to the current one, as describing a sound and maintaining this database is a lot of (exhausting) work. But it really bothers me, how many different timbres you get when you're using the KK/Maschine browser. Most of the time I don't get what I have in mind and having to sift through a lot of sounds is really distracting and time-consuming. So very often I don't bother with that and build my own sounds. One the one hand, it's very rewarding creating your own sounds, but even for some simple sounds it's always some extra work (when you probably have something else in mind regarding song-writing) and it's also really bothering having the feeling, that what I need might be in there, but I stopped previewing 20 sounds too early, as this exaggerated browsing is super-annoying.

...I get what you're saying and it's surely a nice to have. But this is probably a level of control that everybody can set up for oneself. I assume, if someone buys Avenger, it's because of being able to have more control over the sound (otherwise Nexus is a nice rompler for these kinds of sound - I hear its sound designers are really talented :D). So I guess, there's no way around familiarising yourself with Avenger's architecture and it's probably no big deal setting up a couple of controls along the way. And different people probably have different preferences anyway.

I can't wait to see how it will be working with Avenger. This synth is so loaded with features, you actually could go to the centre of the earth. If it had additive resynthesis for creating wave-tables and maybe a cross-modulation matrix between the oscillators (though they clearly opted for wave-shaping on the oscillator level itself), I'm not sure if there'd be much left, that it doesn't do. It's a really exciting synth and I'm really curious to find out whether it might be too much or maybe everything one needs.

It would be amazing if you could lock sections of the synth while browsing. Come across a nice fx chain, lock it to keep it from changing with the preset change. Or lock everything but the fxs to browse through the fxs alone. Likewise with arps and sequencers and so on. Anyways Avenger already looks amazing.

I like this feature set too.

Maybe v1.5 or v2?

+ Y e s , please add some lock features!

last vid about drums is top. possibly one could be better off by buying an avenger instead a dedicated drum machine plugin.

Apart from everything thing else, the GUI's ease of use is fantastic.

regarding the lock parameters: we already offer the possibility to lock global effects like the Shuffle, Main Volume or Master Filter

most other parameters make no sense, and I explain you why: for example you cant lock the effects of FX3-Bus, then load a preset and expect your fx chain will still produce sound. No one knows, if the preset you are loading will have any OSC routet into FX3-Bus. Maybe this bus will not even exists in this preset. So you wont hear anything of these fx bus at all. We cant create connections out of nowhere.

You could lock GLOBAL fx, which most of the synths out there have. The have only 1 BUS... for example 1 chorus, 1 delay and 1 reverb... fixed in the signal path. Thats it. But Avengers completely open and flexible fx bus routing system let you route anything like you want, so I hope you can understand that locking wont work here.

Great drum video! When you can use the Oscs as sources into the drum sequencer - and route to individual outs - that's mighty powerful stuff right there.
