Oops, forgot about that. Thanks ! Mixbus now reports all u-he plugins present and accounted for.

Repro bug:
Immediately when I add the RePro to a project it seems to enter an infinite loop on the right channel, a clicky sound that loops. When I play a note, that note gets stuck in the right channel loop instead.

System: Ubuntu 15.10 64bit
DAW: Bitwig 1.3.9

If more debug details is needed, please tell how to obtain it. :)

That version was not finished, so you should not use it.
Please use the following one: Repro-4365

First (fast) try with your ports today on my laptop with

Code: Select all

Kernel: 4.2.0-35-generic #40-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 15 22:15:45 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
CPU: Intel i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz
DAW: Renoise 3.0.1
Very good, no problems yet, time to get some u-he licenses again. Please keep the Linux ports alive, great work. Thank you!

Hm ok - it was the version that got installed with your script so you may want to leave it out of the scrip then.

I'll try this version instead - thanks!

Haha! Ugly, but it works :-)

vst3 on linux? :-). I thought VST3 didn't had support for linux.

Anyway good to see that it's coming before any host is supporting it. I'll guess it's in the pipeline for bitwig and/or ardour ;-).

Zebra2 build 4408 still has the same bug I reported for the previous build:

When I open the "MIDI Table" page, there are entries for various MIDI controllers (because I added them using MIDI Learn). When I click the FIRST COLUMN of any of these entries, Zebra immediately locks up. Otherwise, everything on this page works OK. I can delete items, change their mode or type, and MIDI control works correctly. This happens only in Zebra2, not in other u-he synths. I am using Bitwig DAW.

I'd like to add to this that the weird mouse wheel scroll behaviour when browsing patches is still there. It scrolls the opposite of expected: Wheel down goes backwards in the list, wheel up goes forward. I assume this is heritage from Mac?

I think this issue is just forgotten. I'm also still waiting for a fix.

Repro-alpha (build 4365) works like a charm here (Ubuntu 14.04, Tracktion 6). Only one problem remained: could not save presets.

It can be fixed by hand, that you must add a Repro folder inside ~/.u-he/Repro/Presets (or where you installed the data for the plugin).

EDIT: Please ignore this post or, better yet, delete it. I had an unregistered u-he plugin in another DAW track and it produced the noise...

Although I have my Zebra2 and ACE registered (they displays "Registered to [my name]", and "enter serial number" option is missing), build 4408 still produces the "demo crackling noise" every few seconds, as if they were unregistered.

This bug is now fixed. Thank you for reporting it. You can download Zebra 4458 from the first page.

Regards,
Alex.
