Love that sound Dimitar - got some kind of chorus on it sounds like. It has the Zakk Wylde squeal! Nice.

This amp sim sounds great but I am also hearing one the better guitarists I've heard in a long with dimitar... You rock man!!!
and I can't wait for this to be released. Why the wait for 4th quarter? It sounds ready...

Oh cool,
nearly no one got this stuff right with a Strat with single coils and these poor marshalls. Good sound for that style.
Go ahead. While I can't check this amp myself right now it's nice to get a few teasers per day!!!
All the best, FRitz
P.S. Maybe you should again make a few demoes for the not-so-hard players.
What about some Eric Johnson sounds? Clean and distorted. That would be cool. Am I expecting a lot? YES!
In the end will be the word.

Hey! I figured it out (maybe). Think of this scenario:
dimitar = Midiworks = dimitar = Midiworks (maybe)...
(Maybe) He (Midiworks) just records the tracks everybody is sending him (Midiworks) using his own (dimitar's) real amps, microphones, etc. He (dimitar/Midiworks) puts them on his soundclick webspace as if he's Midiworks, although he's also dimitar...
(Maybe) This way, dimitar is building an audience for himself...
Then, one day, (maybe) Midiworks will mysteriously disappear... But in the meantime, dimitar will have expanded his audience!
But then, maybe I'm wrong...
We'll see what comes of this wonderful amp "simulation"!!!
Maybe.
Heeb.

Wow, nice "full moon" conspirative theory, Heeb!
Anyways, I'd take a bet it isn't so.
However, I'm all with Fritz, I'd love to hear something less heavy as well.

I hope you're right, of course. The amp sounds wonderful. I'll be very, very interested in considering buying when(/if) the plugin comes out! By the sound of it, I'd have to say: I need it. Price is way too high though... I prolly can't pay for it... I like Midiworks' "poor country" filosophy (a lot), but there are also people in richer countries that will have difficulties paying!Sascha Franck wrote:Wow, nice "full moon" conspirative theory, Heeb!

Anyways, whether I can pay for it or not, the amp will be a more than interesting addition to the ones already available. And judging by the sound of it, it could have the same effect as e.g. the synful orchestra: a (bigger or smaller) revolution in amp sim technology. If it's for real, Midiworks would be wise to get patents for his technology, because he clearly has discovered something that the others haven't (yet).
Cheers,
Heeb.

well, if this 'amp' (if it's not a fake) isn't a (hyping-) project of one of the 'big' established companies (IK-Amplitube/2, Hughes&Kettner, Steinberg, Line6, NI, etc.), I would know something more behind the scenes of this KVR-thread/Midiworks. I would respect, if Midiworks (Rene?) don't want to post some private things here, but if he would do so, it could help a little more to believe in his private ampsim-project - no matter, if it's a hype or not.
anyway: a sooner downloadable demo (beta!?)would also be very helpful.

Your conspirative theory, really too funny !
I was laughing my ass off !!! Thanks !

But somewere I have to distinguish between rich and "rich".
It still makes me wonder here at KVR,
how people seam to be waving with 4-600$ in there hands,
without complaining about the price tag for a GR or AT ect. ...
I was asking Dimitar a week ago, if he would like to help testing the amp,
and so he did and does.
There will be no part in the amp that he or me, is not 100% happy with.
Some people thought our amp is/was vapour ware.
To take Dimitar into the inner circle, was also my atempt to show people,
that the amp is a reality.
There is no "IF", the WHEN, is planed for the last quater this year.

Also the "(yet)"...
But let me tell you how the big boys work:
or if it sounds and feels like one.
They just dont have the passion, time and money
to put something like what we did, into reality.
They rather tell you, it is or will be, the greatest thing ever.
That its so unbeliebable and you can have 20.000 amp combinations ect.
I cant even name 20 different amp makers...
Yes, they are really, really great in producing a lot of hype !
A demo version will be available when the release version is out,
maybe a few days, but not weeks before that.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to make a few things clear.
@patch
a project that involves by now 6 people,
can not be called a "private ampsim-project" anymore.
Thanks for reading and listening !

I am well aware that many people in richer countries that are not "that rich".heeb wrote:I hope you're right, of course. The amp sounds wonderful. They dont care if its a real amp sim or not,(imaginary)
IK makes all that cash alone with Amplitube.
Time to take our part from the guitar player market too !
Guys, you have 2 months to make a amp sim and to
finish the product!
Add more options, make it look cool, so we can start sells in 10 weeks.
Ads in all major magazines around the globe will start in 6 weeks.
Now lets get it on !

If the last 4 files are 80's metal escapades,
than you must be living in the 50's or you did NOT bother to listen to them...
