Demoing it and just fat, lush, characterful, all the synth superlatives, dare I say creamy evenDo I need it already owning Monark and the Arturia one...yes, I do. Made this juicy, rich bassline pluck. Just beautiful. Sounds better than Diva even (gasps

Do Synpapse ever have sales? In Aud, it's almost $300- almost the same as Falcon. I mean, it does sound fantastic but I baulk at that price. So...Black Friday??

Yes, they do a Black Friday sale, though IDK if the discount on The Legend HZ will be smaller because it's relatively new.swilow11 wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 1:00 pm Damn it, but this synth sounds amazing. To clarify, The Legend HZ is $179 ($258 AUD) and UVI Falcon lists at $349 ($504 AUD) so not "almost the same".swilow11 wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 1:00 pm Damn it, but this synth sounds amazing. I imagine part of the price of Legend HZ has to do with Hans Zimmer's involvement.

Is there a cross grade from the VST to the Re version?

Never mind I see there is an R.E. version but it's not listed on the Synapse site.
I thought R.E. is a dead format now that Reason can load VST plugins but I guess not.

The original The Legend was on sale for $79 in December. I believe the regular price for it was $99 at the time, so that was 20%. The biggest sale I know of was when it was 50% in August of 2023 but I don't expect that to happen again any time soon, particularly not on The Legend HZ.swilow11 wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 1:00 pm Do Synpapse ever have sales? Not really - I don't use plugins in Reason, they are just not well integrated compared to RETeksonik wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 3:46 pm Never mind I see there is an R.E. version but it's not listed on the Synapse site.

I paid $199 for Falcon on sale but you're right generally it goes for a lot more than The Legend. I was just comparing my own expenditure...Teksonik wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 3:32 pmTo clarify, The Legend HZ is $179 ($258 AUD) and UVI Falcon lists at $349 ($504 AUD) so not "almost the same".swilow11 wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 1:00 pm Damn it, but this synth sounds amazing. Damn. I'm just super impressed by this synth in a way I haven't been for a while. I am struggling to not just throw the dollars at it...Uncle E wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 5:00 pmThe original The Legend was on sale for $79 in December. The non HZ Legend- is this still available? And if so, how does it differ from HZ version?

Diva is more varied, buuut...big but, Legion HZ in my opinion has a bit more punch to it. It can whack a KO fast, but the Diva can hold it's own in the long run. It's a hard question to give an unbiased answer to. It's minimoog on a load of steroids vs DNA sequenced from a series of classic synths that you can run CRISPR DNA resequencing on...swilow11 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2024 2:52 am That's a shame... Probably just going to man up and spend them bucks. Or should I get Diva? Big thoughts...
(Ok, I'll shut up, little sleep and a lot of coffee)
Choose wisely or take both, like I did.

I doubt it. My guess it is a set upgrade price. Could be that some reseller's storewide anniversary sale or similar could pop up, like "5-10% off with this code"-kind of sale, but that would be a gamble and not that much to save on anyways.ElVincente wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2024 6:02 am Do Synapse audio upgrades go on sales sometime ?
