hey piz, do you think you could do something with the middy morphy?

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=219944

i made some basic requests but the development seems stopped...
if i remember the source code is available

is there any new regarding toggle groups for note-cc2toggle and midipads?

Post

where can i find a cc2pitchbend plugin?
piz could you add a send pb option for midipads

i want to try it with dyscratch

Post

midiConverter2 can change CC to pitch bend... also i think there is a pitch bend option for midiPads already. i don't remember if i added smoothing to either one though... i'll have to check that out.

about the toggle groups, i'm thinking a new separate plugin is the way to go, maybe something that has similar triggering/grouping options as the energyXT MIDI Part, but is limited to one note per "part"...

and i've been meaning to look at fixing up middy morphy... it's a great plugin, but could be much better.

OMG are you serious? If it functioned like Preset Gen in eXT or the Metasurface in AudioMulch that would be stellar!

i tried midiconverter but it crashes xt2 when i select PB out

Hey, just wondering but is it possible to create a VST MIDI plug that can 'quantize' pitch bend numbers?

Think, like a vocal pitch corrector except when I move the pitch wheel, it snaps onto the nearest "note" or pitch value depending on the settings.

eg: Pitch bend range: 12 semitones
I go down, it chromatically snaps to each respective note according to the calculation.

If possible, also 'turn off' notes not to snap to?

Thanks in advance.

cool idea, and definitely possible... obviously the results would depend on the pitch bend range, but it could be very interesting. i'm adding this to my list.

PLUG REQUEST: note2cc (that converts in cc on/off)
very useful to control buttons in performance plugins like turntablist.

midipads: i don't find any pitch bend option ...

Post

the pitch bend option in midiPads is in the right-click menu for each pad - "X is Pitch Bend" (it can only be for the x-direction).

also you can use midiNotesToCC to convert notes to CC on/off switches, if you use the velocity to cc portion and set a VCC rest value. however i fixed some bugs in this plugin recently but haven't uploaded it yet.

hello, mr. piz :
i never got back to you re: the bug output files from before, and I apple-orgize.
But, you were right about the realtek + asio4all + crash = bluescreen equation.

I dragged out my old Delta44 (I was just being lazy not installing it sooner) and using DeltaASIO the problem doesn't exist any longer.

Thank you for helping me before.

midipads: ok :hihi: i was searching in thevalues window...

note2cc: i can't configure this plug  i want each note to be converted in a different cc with cc off sending. could you make a preset to do that? where can i find instructions/documentation?

ah, for that you may be able to use midiConverter2. set input to Note On Velocity/any note, and output to CC/same as input. i may add a couple more features to make this more flexible...

documentation for all the plugins is going to be part of the official update.

i had to open 2 instances of midiconverter2 in chain, the first for note on to cc127 the second fot noteoff to cc00

a dedicated plugin for this could be helpfull, with an easy selectable range of conversion...
