I'm still going to hold off on this until they are completely dongle-free. I don't have a dongle yet, and I want to keep it that way. I can't wait until they release their dongle-free version 5.

That's a good point... however I was thinking about springing for v4 now because it's a free upgrade to 5. Also, 1) what if v5 costs more than v4? and 2) how long before v5 would go on a comparable sale?

Quite interesting... except when going to pay. What is Puremagnetik that wants us to write credit card details, while lightning up Noscript warnings of external links being loaded?
Big names like Amazon, Ableton, Sony, little omnipresent ones like JRRshop or Dontcrack would pass rightfully by requiring such disclosure. For the rest, better either trust Paypal or watch the action from the distance. I am not particularly misjudging second intentions, just weighting risk like third party hacking to harm us all. No thanks.
