fast transients when using sr/4 linear envelopes...this problem was then solved with samplerate envelopes....

Urs, I'm not sure if that first sound is made only with the filter. I think not. Half of it is the fact that the sound itself IS short (amplitude adsr playing the role here). Of course the filters is ok too (nothing revolutionary IMHO) on the virus but that 'pluck' itself is what appeals to me.
Btw. I think your interpolation method might be the ticket! Can't wait to hear it in action so stop worrying about minute details and get it out to the public now!

I came across a strange drone/thunder preset today, called it Dark Drone Orchestra. So I mixed that up with my latest Broken Mellotron setting and a loop that I recorded while mangling Zebra's delay:

100% Zebra + 1 ADLimiter (necessary...)

Okay, the beta group gets it about 25 minute after the AU, but that's mainly because I have to grab the USB stick, walk 2 meters to the right, copy a few source files, launch MSVC, hit F7, create a .zip archive, upload, write a new notification.

Ok. I've thought about something. Here's the word:
If Z2 doesn't go beta by end of November (this year!) - meaning, if the then current version doesn't have all features implemented - I will offer a time-limited "Public Prototype Preview" that will fill the gap between Dec 1st and release. Maybe even kinda pre-order thing or preset contests.
On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that I'll manage the implementation of XY-controls, Modulation Matrix and remaining peanuts just in time
