The Korg Legacy Collection is the bundle WITHOUT M1 AND MonoPoly. So, you just have three products, out of five. I think that these should be eligible for an upgrade path, but OF COURSE not at the same price of those of us that have EVERYTHING
As written, i only don't have M1.
Once i updated my Legacy Collection to a version that included MonoPoly.

However, i almost never use the korg synths, so i'ts not a big deal.

This means you never got the Digital Collection - so you don't have the entire collection. As I said earlier, I think you should have an upgrade path, but not the same upgrade path (just Odyssey), since you would have to buy two synths, and not just one. So, something in the $99 vein, as Jace-BeOS also got.

and got the licence authorization code registering with the MDE-X serial code with the Full Legacy Collection option (and not the MDE-X option because it was rejecting it), and it worked.
And also the upgrade coupon for the new Korg Collection with Arp Odyssey appeared!
Tomorrow with calm I will reinstall all others plugin of the collection. :D
See? It was just a matter of rationalizing, and checking things. 8)
Yeah! :tu:

Fernando, to be honest, i don't know what you try to explain to me.
Believe it or not, i can read (!)
I'm neither interested in paying $100 for an update which includes a synth that has an intro price of 69$ plus another synth (M1) that actually costs 25$ on its own...
(i'll do the math for you: 69 & 25 is 94$ which is less then 100$)

And, since i'm absolutely not interested in the M1 (i'm glad these times are over) the alternative is paying the normal 69$ intro price for the arp.
Which is no "upgrade path" but the normal intro price.

So, thanks for your engagement, i'm sure you are heavy user of these korg synths.
I'm not, so therefore i'll pass on this. ;-)

I happen to like the M1 a lot, I'd use it more on the desktop if the ui were bigger, but it is great on my iPad. The resonant filter helps, but unfortunately in Gadget where I use it most, the resonant filter is not available in presets unless you edit them first in the full app, and the preset system is convoluted. I'm looking forward to a bigger interface on the desktop eventually. I understand it is dated, but it loads fast and uses little resources.

You seem to not get something - Currently, Korg has ONE product, which is Korg Collection. I don't know where you got that $69 price for Odyssey - I don't see Odyssey on sale anywhere for Mac or Windows, no matter the price. If you are referring to the special price for owners of older KLC instruments, then that's what you qualify for, like it or not. But I may be mistaken - if you see ir being offered everywhere independently, post the link.

Neither do I see M1 on sale now, either for $25 or any other price. What you have for sale is a bundle called Korg Collection. You either want to upgrade to the bundle or you don't. If you don't want to upgrade to the Bundle, i don't get what you are complaining about.

If, and when, Korg has the products on sale individually, you may get any of them - but you cannot claim an "upgrade" price, since you are buying them individually. If you want to "upgrade" you have to upgrade to the current version of the bundle, no matter if you want one or two or three of the products. That's the bundle concept - you get them all or you don't get it at all.

p.s. I'm out from any further discussion on this topic with you... it's annoying.

You can buy any of the Korg Collection products individually. I picked up Odyssey for $69.

So, I stand corrected. They are effectively for sale individually, already. My mistake. Anyway, I think they should extend the upgrade offer of M1 LE for users that have ANY KLC instrument.

I'm not logged in on my phone, and so I see the bundle for $200, some individual plugins for $50, mde-x for $20. I think $69 is the upgrade price to the collection with Odyssey for $69 without the coupon, and $50 with it. Where do you can see the plugins for $25 as individuals?

Ah, so is that $25 price the discount people are seeking then?

No, it seems all the drama is because they have to pay $69 for Odyssey instead of $49

Ah, I got it. $69 is for the Odyssey individually, $49 is the upgrade from the migrated Legacy Collection. It makes sense when you understand it, but Korg kind of screwed the pooch making it clear to people what and why the prices are as they are.

That’s not it - it’s not simply the difference in price. It’s about principle - I and many others like me have paid Korg $400 + dollars on the KLC since it’s debut and receive no upgrade pricing. Others have spent less then half that and do. It’s a simple issue of fairness in a situation well within Korgs discretion.

Further, $20 is nothing to sneeze at unless you are rich. For $10, I could get an effect from Cableguys (halftime), or for $9 more, I could get the Mikron Cascade. $20 updates two of my Audiodamage plugins. Or, I could keep that money, save it.

I agree with your point that the upgrade should be extended to anyone that has a Korg plugin, as you suggest. Again, that would help mitigate the issue of fairness.
