Ahh you can't beat fun with acronyms. Gotta admit though, U.R.A.N.U.S. does sound like my A.R.S.E. Although your system may have more definition in the bottom end, my missus will testify that my A.R.S.E is more focused on higher frequencies...

Actually, sort of offtopic, but after reading that someone (Add N to X?) collected multiple MS20's because they all sounded different, and I always thought it would be cool if someone offered a softsynth that was guaranteed to be unique for each one, ie some sort of random factor was added in to various parameters (drift, accuracy et.c.) dependent on a registration code or something...

Tau1's knobs are permanently fixed in round-and-round mode. Tau2 has selectable knob-modes (via a button on the GUI), either round-and-round or up-and-down.Will the mouse-response of the knobs in linear mode be the same as on tau1
As for price, it will be $17.50. We're also going to do a good deal for Tau Pro owners.

$17.50 is already a good deal for Tau Pro owners. Thanks, but that's not what I meant. On Tau1 (at least on Macintosh) you can have up-and-down (what I refered to as 'linear') by pressing the option-key. Question was if this response will be the same.
You know it's like the difference between using a knob or the mod-wheel, or like the difference between using the 4control or the Pocket-Dial - they all behave different and so the automation you draw with them is and sounds different. I like the mouse-response of Tau1 very much.

Are you sure you are talking about Tau mk1 or Tau Pro? in which host?On Tau1 (at least on Macintosh) you can have up-and-down (what I refered to as 'linear') by pressing the option-key

Tau v.1.1, not Tau Pro.
Host: Logic Platinum 4.8.1.
Just doublechecked (though I was sure):
Yes, hold down the Option-Key (ALT) and you have 'up-and-down' mode.
AFAIK it's in the VST SDK, so you maybe simply forgot that you've coded it in....
