Man, If you feel guilty enough to accept ownership of the statement then feel free to wear it.

All I'm saying is, if whoever is concerned is THAT high on the thought of lynching for binary crimes then I could almost feel sorry for you. All those wasted hours on forums imparting your psychopathic views, when you could have been tweeking plugins.
Sorry, but you are not making any sense at all, you are just throwing random sentences. Have a nice day.

This whole thread stopped making sense long time ago.

Anyway, here is a conclusion for this thread before it gets locked:
-Discussing reasons why warez use happens is same as being an evil pirate captain.
-Everyone not accepting warez use is a part of a hypocrite lynch mob.
-Urs is cool

Maybe make up a bumper sticker, you could get spelling bee champion whyterabbyt to proof read it for you.
Look dudella, you do still not say anything that really makes sense in respect to the topic and now you are exposing use of the most primitive types of avoidance.

Try again...or just stick to the pirate-stories...elsewhere! (e.g. warez sites)

Listen mate, I admit that calling you a tool was not the most mellow of phrases and whilst I feel you are completely high on your own shit, I have altered my post to prehaps convey something a little more positive.

But I need to tell you straight up, accusing me of using unauthorised software, or of having any connection to any "warez sites" is totally not on.

Ok guys. Spread some love or I'll lock this thread.

$2.79 @ 1/2 gallon in (downtown) Seattle.

Doubtless affected by the abundance of angst-riddled vegan 'goth-cows'.
€0.00 a bucket

This discussion is crossing / has crossed the line into the kind of territory that gets people banned from KVR.

Slinky, it might be smart to review the rules you agreed to when you signed up at KVR. Verbum sapienti sat est, yes?

HA Ha ha :hihi:

...Look just for the record, I'm not attempting in the slightest to justify the unauthorised use of software. I'm just pointing out that the people who jump up and down crazy about it are generally overlooking something that they may be themselves an offender. And also that I find it a bit over the top that people could be so psycho about it. AND, i don't think that word really equates. Pirates were hard muther fudgers, where people who copy software are usually doing it with a nice cup of coco in hand.

I myself work for a software company, and the main coder and I were recently discussing the issue. We both realised it's something that you can't stop, but you CAN be creative about it, while hopefully not wasting too many hours over it.

I also felt the pain when I finally met one of my hero producers. We had a good ol time, sank a few beers, talked about life and music production. When it got to me asking him how much of what he uses is legit, he said none.
I was gutted, me very much unknown in the music world as of yet, had spent (at that point) over $5000 on music software... over $3000 on PLUGINS!!!
Needless to say my respect kind of waned after THAT session, but I'm not going to f#@in LYNCH him. Jeez.

On the other side, I once met a producer (who tured out to be a KID!), who was getting some play on the global circuit. He was from a dirt poor family and used a computer with a P3 precessor he found on the side of a road!
His music wasn't the type of music that would EVER be mainstream (god i hope not) and he gave his music away! I thought to myself "if this kid didn't use cracked software, would it make ANY f#@ing difference?" etc... AGAIN, I'm not trying to justify the use or the cracking OF software etc, but I live life and I make observations.

and yes, the smudging GUI in this case is a spot of creative genious ;)

Well, software pirates use the word pirate of themselves too and even political parties that support free use of all software call them selves pirate parties.

And hey, pirates are considered cool. Like someone once said "They should have called it faggotry instead of piracy and it wouldn't be half this popular."

:)

Just for the record: I am just amusing myself. I am not even a DEV :hihi:

Sometimes KVR is just soooo boring and this thread had intertainment potential. Sorry for any harm done, but I could not help it :troll:

Peez N luv everybody

Edit: But I do think the excuses of warez users are pathetic!
