What about the update!?

The instrument of 2.1 version still have a lot of glitches.
There are three of those:
1. Sometimes wave morphing things like warp,twist and others dont work
2. FX Chain. Sometimes, i guess when overloading exists, some of enabled effects have stop working. I met it with modulation and delays block.
3. Filters. With no any osc enabled there are incoming short pluck-like sound which can be neutralised only by significant attack time value

I'm disappointed ,i've been waiting for update to 2.1 for buying upgrade from 1.5.

I haven't explored Z3ta+ much, but u mean you can't mod the EG ADSR from an LFO?

Not unless I'm missing something very obvious......I've got it open right now and I don't see any entries in the Mod Destinations about the EG's.......obviously they are available as Sources and Controls. I have to think I'm missing something as it's such a basic function that I can't imagine it's not possible........Velocity to Envelope Attack is so basic for example.........

I remember René stated something about introducing modulation of EG time would "be like rewriting the whole engine" or something like that. It's probably still in the rgc:audio forum somewhere.

Here's a new bug: z3ta+ 2 does not import the full name of the presets that have long names from the z3ta+ 1 FXB.

The patch A-001, ARP Glittermorph Arp (Sync), is reduced to ARP Glittermorph Arp (s.fxp in z3ta+ 2. Looks like it truncates above 24th character. Please fix.

z3ta+ 2 midi note timing is all over the place, didn't notice it first when using pads, but when I programmed a 16th note tight bassline, the timing of the notes went randomly all over the place, not by very much, but enough to make it sound really bad and sometimes it gets worse, but restarting might make it a bit better again.

unless this is fixed it's quite unusable for anything that requires tight timing. on a side note, it does have awesome pads.

also here's a feature request:

make the lfo morph function morph back and forth, if needed, and also go on repeat if needed. now it only morphs once and stays at the destination wave.

let's clear this up...

are you PLAYING phrases (ie the 16th notes), and quantizing in logic? if that's the case, logic would be at fault. if you're triggering arps, for instance...make sure the ARP in z3ta+ 2 is NOT set to FREE. am surprised a lot of presets ARE set to free, but so it goes. change that.

i just got z3ta. am on a mac, 10.8, running logic 9, and not noticing any sync problems (yet..? just started using it).

yeah, i encountered this last night, am gonna email tech support about it. had an arp'd phrase not quite locking up.
(i had to bounce to audio, and CUT the audio to line up).

and that's ridiculous...

EDIT: just filled a report for cakewalk's tech support. so far, tho...am loving this plugin...
but sync NEEDS to work!

I'm not experiencing any sync problems here (so far ) in Cubase 6.5.1, Mac, whether from the Sequencer or from the LFOs.

OK here is a problem i noticed when using in FL Studio 10 latest Z3ta 2.1

In notification area of FL studio there is always being shown X-Y-Pad Y and because of that you cannot do precise automation and stuff wich is shown in notification area. Here is a print screen what is being shown when i tweak chanel volume:



And that "X-Y-Pad Y" is always there no matter what setting i want to tweak

definitely some timing issues between z3ta+2 and logic. also, anyone know how to stop a stuck note? am getting them regularly, not sure how to kill them (outside of changing presets, then back to what i was using).

doesn't logic's panic button work? You can activate it by double clicking in the midi in/out part of the bottom pane. Did you hear anything back from cakewalk yet?

Love this synth as well, it's surprisingly deep and has a nice piercing soundquality to it.

logic's panic button seems to make it worse. last time i tried it (with z3ta) and i got overload errors, and other weirdness.

what may help is to change the polyphony of Z3ta by clicking a few times in that window.
Funny that cakewalk was really quick in answering my questions before I bought it
