I thought, though I might be wrong, I saw something about a discount voucher - I got the K9 upgrade + a sample bundle for my step son.

Anyone else saw something about a voucher? It's not with the K9 box. I was wondering if I could use it against an on sale item (RC24) that I probably wouldn't bother with otherwise. Maybe the voucher will come through after the sale.
They should email you the voucher (it's an 'e-voucher') shortly after you've activated/registered the software.

Sadly, though - unless they've changed the rules, you can't use the e-voucher to purchase a sale item.

ok, that's understandable - I won't be activating for a while because the new PC has yet to arrive anyway.

Get it much sooner than if you were to order from NI!
That is a great deal!

I would have bought that if you posted it before I bought Reaktor and then the Crossgrade from NI!....

Quick question that I might as well throw in here. I purchased the Komplete 9 crossgrade since I already have Reaktor. Can I now sell Reaktor or what?

qick answer: no

Hey, quick question. I've been waiting to buy komplete, and this sale is my chance..
My dilemma now is the difference between buying a vst and what comes in komplete 9 ultimate.
If I buy kontact I get 5 DVDs of sample libraries, if I were to get reaktor and cross grade to k9u would the hard drive have those sample libraries.
Reaktor is downloadable and kontact, so I want to start playing with the new toys but I wouldn't wanna miss out on any kontact libraries

You get those, and a lot more.
4lb Kitty has posted the differences, but there have been a lot of updates, around 2Gb of them IIRC. Most were with the samples for Battery 4. Oh, and the reverbs (RC24 & RC48) aren't on the drive, you need to download them seperately.

And the reverbs work out to be about 176 mb each to download so no big problem them not being on the drive.

How many computers can Komplete be run on? One? Two?

Code: Select all

The end user license agreement (EULA) for Native Instruments products allows the simultaneous installation on two computers (three computers for all versions of MASCHINE and KOMPLETE), as long as only one installation is used at any given time.

It is not necessary to "deactivate" an existing installation to activate the product on any further machine, but due to the license agreement it is required to uninstall the product from the previously used computer.

Please note that Native Instruments reserves the right to disable an account or serial number if it has reason to believe that the license agreement is violated.

If you bought them both as separate products I think you can.
