I truly want this package, but can't afford the full 500 dollars it cost. I heard they've done a 50% off sale every once in a while, does anyone have any experience? With Black Friday coming up I'm hoping there will be something.

yeah Im waiting Komplete sale also. 20% sale is enough for me to buy Komplete. Hope that sale is also for crossgraders. Maybe NI makes exception and gave us that opportunity hope really so

They usually do a 50% sale once a year... also for upgrades, so hopefully Black Friday will bring some good deals.

They usually have a big discount just before the next version of Komplete is released.

Europe does black Friday now but not all stores. It starts today for some companies until Cyber Monday although some will extend beyond this.

This Year Cyber Monday which is what many software companies take part in is on the 2nd of December. Ableton started theirs a week ago with 20% off. Amazon UK have started today with Black Friday deals.

Well it's live now! Definitely picking up an upgrade but first a question:
Do these 50% off deals generally show up in other stores as well, or only the NI online store?
(Just trying to save some $ on shipping)

Mostly in NI shop.

BTW NI offers free shipping option AFAIK. It takes a few weeks longer to arrive but it's free.

I noticed that this sale only lasts just over a week. Normally their 50%-off sales last a whole month.

Actually, Guitar Center (and all their other affiliated companies) usually match as well. They will always match in store, but if they match on the web, and you have one of their coupons, it will usually allow an additional discount as well.
