suloo,

nice~ 1 question. How do I make the playhead to go back to 1.1.1 on mixer page? Pressing stop twice doesn't seem to return it back to the beginning of a song.

thx

hey suloo,

also testing to set up your amazing new template.
but again it seems that i am too stupid to get it running.
im able to receive "data" from bitwig to lemur (like track-names, clip-names are updating and showing up in lemur, transport shows if its playing etc.)
but i am not able to control anything, except the midi-keyboard and pads (via the lemur-daemon).
i made a screenshot of my preferences setting, i tried a lot with the ports and ip`s, but with no success.
any help would be very appreciated!
cheers

ah yes..i guess my fault is the tab "Receive from (Script restart required).
I`m really not sure what i have to type in there...

Hey Timo!

thx for checking back ;)
First you can use this version, its a little newer than the one on GitHub.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/9w8g3helcq722 ... .jzml?dl=0

Then check out the settings in the Lemur here:

You can see your Lemur IP in there.

Image

Use that in the drop down menu in Bitwig and set all to port 8000 for both, the Receive from and Send to, because you want to receive control data from the iPad and you want to send back clipnames etc to the iPad..

Image

Then type in your Computer IP as OSC 0 Target in the Lemur. Do you know how to find your IP?

YOu do not need the Daemon anymore. If you are on Mac, you can for example use the internal IAC MIDI port, or you can use ANY port that appears in that list in the Bitwig preferences usually.

So also close the daemon completly and you should be ready to go!

Let me know ;)

cheers

Thanks again for the instructions!
Got it to work and tested it the whole afternoon :-)
I only got it to run smoothly with an ad-hoc network, but maybe this has to do with my internet-connection..
also i got the keys&pads only working with the lemur-daemon, not when selecting any other midi-controller wich is hooked up. but it works, except the tranpose buttons, they don`t react.

also like somebody else mentioned, in the clips-mode, the OVR and automation tab dont work yet.
and last question: in the device mode, ist this still work in progress with the envelopes-modes and stuff? it also would be nice, to be able to step trough the device-panel mappings (like in polysynth, first pitch, shape etc, to step trough until u got frequency, resonance etc..) or am i missing something?

anyway, the mixer page is great! cliplauncher as well!
looking forward whats coming and again many many thanks for that hard work!
cheers

Hi Mark, I just wanted to say thanks for the work you put into the Bitwig script, I managed to get it all setup last night although I'm new to Lemur and fairly new to OS X and Bitwig.

Happy Christmas! :-)

Post

Thx malachy5! Actualy the scripting is now done by moss now, so probs go for him, but glad you like the template.
Will put out a bigger update later today. ;)

So, finally i got the update ready for you, check out page one of this thread or directly on Github. ;)

https://github.com/Suloo/liine_lemur

It's still in Beta because there is stuff left i would like to add like:

- vertical cliplauncher
- more indication in clip launcher, like record mode etc
- making pads/keys selectable by channel

i hope you enjoy it!

Great job on the script!

I'm trying to get this working on Ubuntu, but I'm having trouble creating virtual midi ports with qmidinet. Does anyone have step-to-step instructions?
