Hi.
New beta is nice.
But new beta doesn't replace the preset.
It shows "ERROR Could not find required attribute(info)"
The previous beta could replace the preset.
Windows 7 64bit.

Can you try downloading it again? It have been fixed a few hours after the release, but the version number is the same...

Vojtech, could you tell what resonance value is equivalent to the default of 0.71 of the HP/LP in MEqualizer? Q = 0.71 is the value where you don't hear a resonance bump but also not lose highend/lowend unneccesarily. I figure it must be around 20-30%, could you tell the exact value?

Well, the formula is:
Q = 0.05 + (100 - 0.05) * ((Qpercents/100) ^ 4)
So
Qpercents = 100 * ((Q - 0.05) / (100 - 0.05)) ^ (1 / 4)
Therefore for Q = 1/sqrt(2) (which is what I assume you want), the Qpercents = 28.474970816068351576717151578246%
Q = 0.05 + (100 - 0.05) * ((Qpercents/100) ^ 4)
So
Qpercents = 100 * ((Q - 0.05) / (100 - 0.05)) ^ (1 / 4)
Therefore for Q = 1/sqrt(2) (which is what I assume you want), the Qpercents = 28.474970816068351576717151578246%

Thanks

Any particular reason why you chose a more resonant value as default? Just curious.

I downloaded it again.
Now it's fine.

MeldaProduction wrote:Program changes - well, that's problematic - we don't use any fixed number of banks or anything. There are A-H presets and then there presets (and there can be any number of settings). Also the settings are often very huge, this is not a simple instrument with 30ty knobs. Just the core provides about 2000 automatable parameters, plus lots what cannot automated, plus FX... Not that simple...
Clear. Powerfull often is inversely proportional to the complexity
No problem.
Thank you

The LFOs in Envelope mode, can we have a switch that controls the triggering? Currently it only triggers if there is a little break between two notes. I want to play a monophonic legato line using monophonic/toggle in the global voice settings and I want to trigger the LFO on each note regardless whether the last note already ended or not. Is this possible? I.e. something like monophonic/restart for the LFO in envelope mode?
Thanks in advance!

PS: And an overall voice limit would really be helpful!

Obviously this requires a workaround and re-trig would be the way to do it; but the real solution is to have at least one or two polyphonic LFOs.CableChannel wrote:The LFOs in Envelope mode, can we have a switch that controls the triggering? Hm I think there just needs to be a switch controlling the legato behaviour of the LFO. Currently is restarts only if notes are NOT legato, and it would be cool to enable also retriggering when playing legato. Just like the monophonic/restart mode does it with the filter env.Breeze wrote:Obviously this requires a workaround and re-trig would be the way to do it; but the real solution is to have at least one or two polyphonic LFOs.CableChannel wrote:The LFOs in Envelope mode, can we have a switch that controls the triggering? Since it is supposed to go together with the mono/restart mode of the whole preset there is no need for a poly LFO (at least in this case).
Poly LFOs with fixed trigger phase or random phase would of course also be very nice. ALso for the oscillators, a trigger phase control that lets you choose fixed/free would be really cool to get more organic beating effects between OSCs

Hi, I've started to make some patches today -realy exciting this synth! However I could not figure out, how to use KeyFol as a mod source (not for Cutoff -this is solved by now). I wanted to attach it to FM depth for making my pad sound work well across a wider range of the keyboard, so went to see the MIDI settings. One can use this option for applying performance data as mod source here -but I did not find the way for KeyFol. Perhaps it's only a mistake of mine.
Another point I wish to see: a slider on Env Panels for Amt -this could be than easily headed by Multiparameters and/or MIDI, thus providing much more flexibility -at least I think so.
Cheers: Sam
