So far I made the following changes to your script Moss:
- made playing clips white (they previously just had the content color in Mk2)
- queued clips blink white
- clips queued for stop are dark grey
- in session view the left/right arrows move the trackbank instead of switching between tracks (was this a bug?)

Hey another little success, I changed the behavior to hide nested clips (you could've told me it's just one boolean switch ) and also made scene clips inherit their group color - now it's finally working the way I wanted!

I got the problem back again
BW is not recognising the Launchpad pro script

I have tried rebooting the pc and unplugging the LPP
but it just wont work

but as soon as I load up abelton it works first time

Any tips on how to force BW to reload the script
iv tried from the settings but nope it still wont work

Hi

Does that only happen after using it with Ableton or randomly?

NO its random

But if I load abelton it always works first time

when it does work with BW it seems to be locked in NOTE mode
and the grid lines around the clips light up and you can start some clips
from note mode

I'm lost as to what the hell is going on

after installing BW latest version a few days ago it was working perfectly

I have been trying again today to get it working

and so far it seems stuck in play mode
but if I press any of the right hand side > buttons if there is a scene on them it will start it
on the left hand side the click and the rest of the buttons work as they should
but I get NO scene display on the Launchpad only the note mode led´s

What mode are you in? Like if you press the Setup button on the LPP, the top left buttons on the grid denote which mode you are in. You may be stuck in the internal Launchpad note mode.

I don't have my setup in front of me so I don't know what mode it needs to be in to get the script to work. I would just try all the different modes to see if one of them works. However I would assume that once the script recognizes it, the script would send a Midi message telling it to switch to the correct mode.

Also, have you updated your LPP firmware to the latest version?

tried all the modes
and yes iv got the latest firmware installed

I'm now thinking that BW has something stored somewhere that I might need to delete

In desperation I decided to uninstall BW

after a fresh install all is ok
and working as it should

so Christ knows what happened

Does anyone know if it's possible to alter this script and add pages to the note mode that look like the following bits from this clip:



At 1:45, there's a "piano" view that shows the major and minor keys like they would be on a piano

At 2:02, there's a different drum view that basically sets up each pad to take up 4 pad spaces, making it easier to get drum rolls and the like.

Any ideas would be appreciated!
