I can't reproduce that. OS X yosemite
SpellBound wrote: Second. When you try to make audio container longer by triggering up right side of the clip it works like looping (triggering down right side of the clip)
that's not a bug. It is working as intended. You have to turn off the loop button in the inspector. When you dragged to the left, it actually automatically turned off the loop button. Which is why you were then able to make it longer without looping

But! if you ask me... the cursor should not show the lengthen clip cursor, when it is really going to loop it

It confused me at first too because the manual says the half bracket will appear when you can lengthen it.

"To lengthen an Arranger clip: mouse over the top right edge of the clip so that a half-bracket cursor appears. Then click and drag to the right.

To loop an Arranger clip: mouse over the bottom right edge of the clip so that a half-bracket cursor appears with a looping oval. Then click and drag to the right."

The API documentation seems to have dropped out with this release.

I click the API documentation item in the Help menu and it pops up a message that my installation is broken, the documentation is missing. I check the folder and there's just a few images and .css files.

Is it available separately? (as a download)

Can confirm missing API documents here too.

They are available online @ http://controller-api.bitwig.com/help-doc.html.

API docs are working fine here.. 1.3.6

I'm on Windows, perhaps it's a issue with the Windows package.

And yea, I'm reading the documents from the site now, but the offline version had a convenient search function.

This is the moment to say THANKS for the update, especially the clips multiple takes for me!

But i think it's also the good moment to ask (and frankly i really hope for answers):

- Do you plan to make something about the soft not reacting as it should with Windows taskbar / double click on the top to Max/Min it?
Or is it impossible due to the fact it is Java based (if i understood well)

- Do you plan to add a spectrum/sonogram etc one day?

- Do you plan to make your own Youtube chan with tutorials, tips n' tricks, what's new vids, and more, in short more Bitwig life not only relying on users chans? (the main words here are MORE LIFE)

No irony, sarcasm, or complaining here, just old concerns :)

thx for the update!!!
this, extremely important to fix imo. It makes Bitwig very difficult to tolerate at times. Also happening to me at times when moving straight midi notes.

there is a http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=455342 Preview samples popping topic, just dropping here too

i take clicks in browser as a normal thing))) its been there for ages. and yeah, i still use ableton's browser to clean up my librarie and delete some stuff. bitwig's browser SOMETIMES lets me delete samples. sometimes doesnot. but mainly its going slooooow.

very nice update on making multitakes, while jammin over repeating scenes of your choice, simpler via scenes cliplauncher (automation write options: postrecording action do:record into next free slot)!
and massive thanks to brian bollman (great job on doing bitwig tutorials!) showing this feature asap, and saving me a lot of time.

Yes, the time range of free running automation is displayed correctly now. But the automation play marker in those launcher clips isn't displayed correctly:
- if the free automation isn't looped, its playhead in the launcher is looped with the clip content
- if the free automation is looped but with a different loop length than the clip content, the playhead isn't looped correctly (different (both incorrect) behaviour when automation loop is shorter/longer than the clip content loop!)
Yes, I could reproduce it. I get the error right after creating a new clip with automation and switching it to free running. If i stop playback and start it again it seems fine, following any changes to the loop settings correctly. Thanks for reporting!
:tu: I really appreciate that face this issue! :)
