Well, Wusik Station V8 was a big project for me and took me a lot of energy to complete. Even with the problems I was facing I was able to release it, and it is a complete product. There are problems with some legacy presets and I'm aware of that, and I will improve it as much as I can with time. I never said "oh no, I won't update it anymore", did I? But I see that users can panic when they see me announcing other stuff while the previous product still have problems. But again, don't worry, fear not, I will handle things in time. Keep in mind that I just got better for severe problems that I don't want to talk about, so I'm still slow.

As for Wusik 8000, well, are opinions. For me it is a complete and superb product, which I already used on several demonstration tracks without problems. Not sure what you would say that is an incomplete thing. But that's how I see things from my side. It has tons of great presets and functionality and sounds great.

Ok, back to work for me, can't fight every single argument you guys write here, sorry...

Cheers, WilliamK

I wrote this in December 2015 in http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 3#p6339173:
We have end of December now, a group buy after another, and nothing happened with my reported bugs of V8 (8.0.2) from June and July. So, that's why I still use V7 instead of V8! And there also nothing has been happened with the bugs of Wusik 8000 (1.1.2), reported in February!

I don't want to open another topic, so I write this here:
I want to run V8 and 8000 without bugs but with some new features like envelope templates and with some old features (from V7) like layer copy! I don't need a Wusik Station X instead of V8 or Wusik MOD One, Two or Three instead of Wusik 8000. Is this too much required?

Your announcement:
I'm skipping Wusik Station V9 to bring Wusik Station X instead. For current users 40 USD! Is that your way to fix issues of Wusik V8?

This project (Wusik MOD One) will replace Wusik 4000 & 8000. For current users 40 USD again!

Look at the eta.

Post

i dont know....

look...i hope you feel better and your health issues get worked out, and nothing anyone says here is about "hating" you. in fact if you pay attention to nearly everyone in this thread i think what youll see is a bunch of people who really do like your products, but are simply frustrated with how they have been treated as customers.

do you not see that introducing multiple versions of software and asking for more $$ for each iteration makes your paying customers feel a bit cheated? especially when later iterations are nothing more than bug fixes and already promised features with a new number slapped on them.

you may disagree with that assessment...but you know the old adage..."the customer is always right"...and you have a lot of customers all saying the same thing. maybe it all just boils down to perception...but if multiple people are getting the same perceptions...explanations and flat out denial isnt going to help the situation.

i think its safe to say that most of us want to buy your products, but the way you handle the business side just doesnt make us feel safe in doing so.

chaosWyrM: Yep, my views exactly, and probably worded more eloquently than I would have.

To quote X Files, "I want to believe".

WusikStation 8 was released only last July
http://www.kvraudio.com/news/wusik-rele ... -0-0-30364

On the Wusik webpage already there is an offer to buy into WS X that has ETA December 31st

I think it is too short at time between release version, and I also think it is unusual to launch group buys that far ahead of ETA

Knowing that WSX is already in the works, makes me think that WS8 will not get a lot of further updates, and it thus makes me wary buying into it.

Guys, I'm feeling the same way here.

I mean I have already pre ordered Wusik SEQ, only now there isn't going to be a Wusik SEQ, but a totally different sounding product!
OK, so maybe Wusick DAW will get the same features, I'm also sure it will be a nice product, but will it be the product I thought I had/was purchasing, probably not. Chances are it will have a lot of features I don't want, need or expected with what I thought I was originally getting.

So, now I may be getting something that I don't really want.

And, please believe me this is not hating on anyone, this is a true concern for me as a customer!

Further more WilliamK, I do think very highly of your products, don't forget this review, seems I remember giving that review. And I still stand behind it today. However, I too would like to see more progress made on Wusikstation V8!

At this point, I am starting to get a bit weary of purchasing more non existent products. My apologies if this is hard to understand, but when I pay for a Bay Horse I expect to get a Bay Horse! And right now, well I'm not even sure that there will even be a horse of any color coming my way. But, I'm pretty sure it ain't the Bay Horse I paid for!
Digital Studio: Studio One Pro 3, and too many plugins to list
Tools: '09 Epi' Dot Studio, '10 Epi' Les Paul Studio, '97 Fender Strat, 2015 PRS SE Standard 24, Martin OMC-18E.
Toys: Peavey Solo, Crate GFX30, VOX AD30VT, Digitech RP500, Line 6 HD500X

I'm really impressed with WusikStation 8 and Wusik 8000

If these can be put in an environment with VST compatability and a pianoroll/track manager, then a DAW is born
