I shouldn't be on my second day, still with no answers from Korg as to how to license some simple bundled software. I called them just a few minutes ago and they don't offer regular customers phone support, so I was told to send my complaint to... the Korg website. I already did that last night. Still, nothing but crickets from Korg.
I'm used to software that just works. If I need to install anything from XLN Audio or Propellerheads, I just log into my account and their server puts everything on my machine and licenses everything all by itself. No muss, no fuss. In 2016, anything less than that is incomplete hack ware.

That's the thread from which I re-posted a possible solution earlier in this thread. Looking at Carpenter's screenshot above, I suspect that it doesn't solve his problem, but hopefully I'm wrong.Ingonator wrote:Just found this threda at the Korg forum wit hrelated problems:

The first reply there seems to be from someone who bought the Legacy Colletion, not as a bundle with a controller.

Go to korg-license-center.com.
Enter the KORG Bundle Software PIN from the card that came with the Taktile.
Authorization codes appear for each plug-in. Copy the authorization code for the first plug-in you want to register (e.g., Wavestation).
Download and install the plug-in.
Open the plug-in. An authorization screen appears. Click the License Authorization button.
Click Next. Click Get License Code. KorgUser.net opens.
Create an account (or sign in if you have one).
Click Register Product.
(This is the unintuitive part): Select "KORG Legacy Collection series" from the Product Name menu.
Paste in the Locking Code from the plug-in window and the Authorization code from korg-license-center.com (the first site). The locking code may be filled out for you already.
After 30 seconds or so, the site generates a License Code. Copy that and paste it into the License Code box for the plug-in. Click the Enter button to complete the authorization.
Repeat for the other five plug-ins.

The box came sealed from American musical and the cardboard with the code was in the plastic manual bag and that bag was still sealed.Numanoid wrote:The pot calling the kettle black.Carpenter wrote:Still, nothing but crickets from Korg

I would most def give that vendor a call, and ask for assistance.Carpenter wrote:The box came sealed from American musical and the cardboard with the code was in the plastic manual bag and that bag was still sealed.

Thank you for answering. That eliminates the possibility that the software might already be licensed to someone else.
Which specific device did you buy? Full name, that is. If you can link to the product's page on the seller's site that might help to track down the best solution.

Hands up here who hasn't made this mistake before? I guess we all have.
