The inspiration comes from vintage electronic devices. It's based on what I imagine a synthesizer used in these video logos would look like today. An obscure device from the late 70s or early 80s, minimalist in design, slightly yellowed with age.![]()
Was it white plastic that turned yellow? All our devices I remember from the 70s were made of wood, metal, and black plasticMaybe it was the Grundig style, we had only Grundig stuff

A lot of white plastic items from that period seem to have taken on a yellowish tone over time. Or maybe that was a popular color of the time. Like olive green. Anyhow I have a vintage touch tone telephone that I based the color on.
