I just will wait some versions more.... but after migrating old Ableton projects to Bitwig (manually) I was like "wtf.... Bitwig is really really laggy"

Let's see!
Interesting, because for my projects - 20-30 tracks, mostly MIDI & native devices, only few VSTs - Bitwig is significantly more fluid than Live, where scrolling the arrangement is choppy/jumpy, M4L devices' screens lag behind the body of the device, adding devices to the project takes 5-10s before Live becomes responsive again.

If Live ever tried to put so much movement on screen like Bitwig does, it wouldn't be usable for me :(

I would really like to see an option to turn off all the analyzers and animations in the modulators. I find Bitwig really distracting when there's a lot going on on screen.
An option to reduce the framerate wuold be useful, too. 30 fps is enough to have fluid graphics.
60 fps is only a marketing gimmick and a waste of resources IMO.

YMMV of course but I make music with daws and have no use for all that analyzers since I have an eq on every track with (guess what) a spectrum analyzer included.

I definitely agree about the fps cap, but can't understand this 1st request. I mean for starters, you can hide all of the dynamic displays by closing the modulators and collaping the devices. You need those visualisations when you're tweaking the parameter(s), at least it helps me greatly.

But sure, I wouldn't mind if this option was there for those that want it. For me persoanlly, all the movement and life boosts creativity, similar to - I'd imagine - all the colorful lights would on a proper hardware modular system.

Well... life's too short to spent my time opening/closing devices and collapsing stuff, isn't it?
