Could you pls reduce the size of the demo download. Having to DL and install 4Gb data just to try something still is a bit much
If the user then decides to buy all they have to do is unlock it with their serial number and they have everything.

If you insist on keeping the full packge demo download, I would encourage you to offer a smaller demo download for people that don't want to use up gigs of their internet bandwidth. In otherwords, get the product into as many hands as possible without a bottleneck. I'd only commit to the large download if I was very close to buying it - but without demoing it and the reviews so far that is not the case. But if the download was say 300MB I'd be using it right now instead of posting this. Get the point?

Yes I get the point, but by your own admission your not really in the market for a synth. I think for people that are genuinely looking for a synth a 4GB download is not a big deal and will download within 1 to 20 mins on the majority of internet connections. We want people that are demoing to know exactly what they are getting so they can make a more informed decision. Then when they purchase the product they have everything they need. No more to download.plexuss wrote: I was just downloading the demo but cancelled it. From reading this thread, it appears that the folder where the content gets installed is not configurable during the installation. Is this something that can be modified afterward by a registry modification (on Windows machines)?

He's right. At the regular price, I wasn't in the market so wouldn't download the 4G for the demo.
But now it's on sale for $49 and the incentive is there! Downloading now.... 3G to go...

Since Sektor was compared to Serum I decided to play both side by side, trying out different patches and programming. I do hear some similarity but Sektor has a grittier sound do it. They sound different. Not in completely different ball-parks, but different sides of the same ball-park. I could also hear some character of Audio Damage Phosphor in Sektor.
Frankly, if I just consider it a sound bank of 750 sounds for $50 its more than worth it. But as a full synth AND with all the nice features like re-sizable GUI, GUI colour customization, and all the synth options which parallel Serum in terms of functionality, and a nice library of wavetables and libraries... $50? No brainer.
Purchased.
And 3 machine activations, no hardware dongle required. Apparently no license transfer though.

Huh, it's a superb price. I try to resist, because already have ~15 great synths, 5 of them can do wavetable.
