this is Bigticks forum and we are pulling Sytrus to bits, along with the fruitymania makes it all pretty rude. sorry Tick

the bottom line is IMO, Rhino is aimed at the Home and Pro market and Bigktick has a place in both.
where as it's blazingly obvious that Image Line aim more for the kid at home using low end gear (and small monitors).

thats how I see it after my experience with this company.

sytrus is one of the best sounding synths around.. a funny interface doesn't make it a toy you know

far from it, I demo'd it at a friends studio who uses dual 19" TFT's, not only did we get the MAJOR clicking and popping problem that is unfixed in FL when dragging across 2 screens but the UI was totally unworkable, it's ok at 800x600
anything over that was impossible to see.

i'm a big fan of IL's products and i love Sytrus sound, but i must admit the GUI is way to small. because of that issue, i won't bother to learn to program it, which is a shame.

on the other hand, Rhino is a great, precious synth, too.

i love both of them
but, honestly, i wouldn't have bought Sytrus if i wasn't a XXL customer...
